    I've trained 10 mustangs. Fledge,Hwin, and Rune are mine. And Wager. I might have two more wild ones coming in at the end of January if time permits.

    Gorgeous horse. I love the work you do, it's so inspiring and these mustangs are such amazing creatures! It makes me sad though that you've started jerking the leads on your horses. You never did that when you trained your first mustang but in training videos following Flash's journey I've seen you do it a number of times. For someone who is obviously so talented and has a great intuition with horses, it makes me sad that you would use physical (I would say violence, although that's an overstatement) punishment, especially on horse's heads. Good luck with him, I look forward to seeing your progress!

    • @katielrobison
      @katielrobison 10 лет назад +6

      You must not know anything about handling horses. There is a time and a place for using more physical force than a gentle pat. She was in no way being violent with this horse. Please educate yourself on the use of rope halters, training and handling wild mustangs or any horse for that matter and a billion other things before expressing such ignorance.

    I know it's for saving them, saving their race, save them because of slaughter house, and keep them alive, but I always watching it with a painful sensation...this break my heart so much. I can't imagines how much painful this is for them to be captured and be sold to human they didn't even choose, next step is to being alone and never saw again the friends and the family they had.
    It's the reason why, I understand a bit the reasom how peoples can be against equestrians and horse riding. But as a horse people, I can't support them, much of them are ignorants or simply dreamers. it's like pretending dogs cats and chickens blablabla, we can't abandonned them to death or pretending they don't need us. It'd our responsability now to take care of them and protecting them against our society.
    Thx for the video honey 💜

      that's why it's so important to use gentle starting methods like what Elisa uses, so these horses can have minimal stress and learn to enjoy their new lives, not just tolerate it. You can't control everyone that wants to adopt a wild mustang, unfortunately, but you can do your part in making your mustang's life as amazing as before, and strive to make it even better than before.

    Explain how Archdale is involved in this video. Did you have the horse transported or what. Trying to make the connection with Nevada and North Carolina. Watch all your videos. Great Job!!

    At first I thought Fianto's name was some fancy Italian name, but really it's a spell from Harry Potter. Really, though I think it's a great name and a beautiful horse :)

    I saw a comment down below on why people are capturing wild horses, and that you think it is cruel. It was not possible to "answer" your commment.
    The wild mustangs were to begin with a "problem" for the land, or something about that. So instead of capturing them and sending them to the slaughter-house, they created the Wild Mustang Makeover instead. They all end up with good homes, and that is better then being slaughtered. :)

  • @clumsycolours1677
    @clumsycolours1677 6 лет назад

    Why would you take him out of the wild? I'm just curios because there are horses for sale or horses that you could rescue from slaugter

    • @DarkKingdomBlade
      @DarkKingdomBlade 6 лет назад

      They're being round up regardless of whether there is someone lined up to adopt one or not due to overpopulation issues, and if people don't rescue and retrain them, there is a high chance they will end up being sent to slaughter.

    • @Amanda-ly9rc
      @Amanda-ly9rc 5 лет назад +1

      @@DarkKingdomBlade I know this whole thing with the Mustangs...well is what it is. Having said that don't believe anything the government, especially the BLM tells you. The Mustangs are NOT overpopulated or destroying land, they want the Mustangs land for their own reasons and that's the God's honest truth. I'm not mad at anyone who participates in these challenges, if anything considering they're the only good thing coming out of the whole thing with the BLM. I'm just tired of reading comments on video after video of people justifying the BLM's choices based solely off of what the BLM states...the BLM are liars!

    I'm not sure what the different opinions are in America compared to England but to me this seems really cruel? you capture horses from the wild, take them away from their herd then try to raise them as domestic animals? I bet the pony is so confused :(

    • @lifeaslauren2837
      @lifeaslauren2837 8 лет назад +5

      It's either that or being sent to slaughter houses. The horses are thriving in that area and destroying the environment in the process. Almost all of these horses get a good adoption family after getting trained. Would you rather that or horse meat?
