Around time stamp 11:00 you went down an amazing side trail with a rock formation in the middle of the trail. Is there any way you can pin point on a map where that was? Also, what camera are you using?
Here are the coordinates for the formation and slide. 38.7059864, -109.8050089 (roughly). This trail is off of Bartlett Wash. Seriously one of my favorite areas. We used a GoPro12 for this video. Hope this helps! Happy riding!
My wife and I are coming to Colorado and Utah this June with our sxs. Your videos help us with our decision to ride and camp. Maybe we will meet you guys out there. Keep up the good work. work.
My wife and I are taking our kids and future son in-laws and daughter in law for early Christmas, going to Taylor’s park Colorado then on to Utah at the end of September. Coming from Tennessee. Your videos are amazing and helping us out so much. Still so many questions but thank you.
We went from Gemini bridges and then poison spider to 279, but took pucker pass back to the Gemini bridges area! It's a long day of riding, but yes, that was our loop. Our Rzr is street legal, so that helps with the paved sections of the loop.
We're trying to put together a few friends and come to Moab in either mid to late spring or fall this year. We were considering getting a VRBO somewhere and trailering to trailheads but it sounds like you can pull the toy hauler and camp at spots and access several trailheads from one spot over a couple or three days. Is that correct? We ride trails in Nevada and are looking forward to some of the more challenging bits we saw in your video. Thanks!
If your toys are street legal, and are tagged, you can stay anywhere and get to where you need. However, since you mentioned trailering, I'm guessing you are not tagged. There are several spots to park your toy hauler and camp in BLM land, near many trails. They have started to charge for camping in BLM land in a few of the spots. The areas you would HAVE to trailer to would be Fins and Things, and Hells Revenge areas. These trails are usually pretty crowded, and you have to pay to get into that area. (once you have done that once, I would recommend skipping.) We detail this more in one of our older Moab videos. (please see the video list on our channel). Most of the trails in this video you can access if you stay north of town on BLM land. The White Wash Sand Dunes area is absolutely beautiful, and I love it out there, BUT the road to get there is LONG, and ROUGH. There are a couple of dips in the road that are rough on our triple axel, so we don't camp out there anymore. But if you are smaller- you might like it. Hope this helps!
@@momentsofadventure Thanks! Unfortunately, Nevada doesn't issue street legal plates. We have the sticker that shows we have insurance and it allows us to very limited street use in municipalities that allow it but those are few and far between, usually allowing you to ride on the street for a mile or two to get to trails. I don't think that would work in Utah.
@@momentsofadventure so you mentioned tagged? I have a friend that has been there 5 times over the years, he hasn’t been in a while but he mentioned you either have to be street legal or tagged? My rzr is street legal, the others are not. If we plan on trailering to each tail head do they need to be street legal? Also, tagged, what is it and how do we get tagged? He also mentioned everyone will need to take an online driving course but he wasn’t for sure on this. Once again thank you so much for your help. We actually booked a cabin today for Taylor’s park reservation, and we booked a hotel in Moab. I guess we plan on trailering to each trail head. Is this something you can do?
@@renonative No, it won't work in Utah.... BUT have you looked into tagging out of state? Some states allow out of state tags. Our first tags were from Idaho. BUT for your original question.... You could park on the north side of Moab, in the BLM land,, off of Hwy 197, and get to MANY trails. Again, Thanks for asking and watching the video!
@@travisgoins5649 When i say "tagged", I mean street legal, and a license plate. To ride in Moab on the street, you have to be street legal with a license plate. Hope that helps clear up confusion. For your friends to drive on the road to a trail head, they would also need to have a tag, or a license plate. To actually go on the trails, everyone still needs and off road permit. Also, your friend is right, you do have to take on online drive course. It is online, and very simple. Sounds like you have some fun coming your way with your reservations! Hope you have a great time! Be safe! :) As always, if you have more questions, please do not hesitate to ask!
We were there in EARLY March this time. This was the coldest we have ever been there. Its HOT in the summer, but spring and fall are usually perfect. :)
We are coming from Missouri and unfortunately they do not let you license a sxs in Missouri so we are going to have to trailer to all the trails we ride. That means all the places will have to be out and back. What would be your list of places and where would you park the trailer?
Hi Randytredway376! You can get to white wash and Bartlett Wash/Tusher Tunnel, and the M&M trail in one trailer ride. You can also get to the Rim Trail and Metal Masher from the same area. Fallen Officer is right across the highway from M&M/Tusher Tunnel area, and they do have a trail along the road there. LOTS to do in that area. Then Poison spider is for SURE an all day thing. If your coming from Missouri, you might want to do Hells Revenge and Fins and Things. You have to pay to get into that park, but its one fee for both. Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any more questions! What is your favorite riding in Missouri?
@@momentsofadventure we have our rzr’s street legal here in Tennessee but I would rather not ride too much pavement road on soft sticky tires. I appreciate all the questions and answers. What about a book like a map book? I use lifetime trail maps but sometimes that gets aggravating trying to look up trails. Do you recommend a specific book just for back up?

We use OnX Offroad maps, and Gaia maps primarily. We like OnX for Moab.
