The other cub has its head stuck in a carcass. Probably didn’t survive. This mother must think her cubs should be eating meat, not drinking milk. She seems to care more about her 1st cub than her 2nd.

Moms even fist time lioness moms DO NOT TAKE THEIR YOUNG TO A KILL. The cub at the kill is older than the one crying. Something horrible happened and he’s obviously distraught crying for his mom. She checks out the other cub who’s barely breathing. It’s older than that baby cub. It looks like they were attacked maybe by nomadic males or hyenas. If the other cub was hers and alive she would have picked it up but she didn’t. The cub she did pick up was super young like 2 weeks old and traumatized. Something horrible happened here and whoever put this clip up should have gave some context to it. All I see is a kill a bloody mom, a cub tucked under prey barely breathing and a baby cub crying out for mom desperately. What a sad situation! How about some context to this SAD CLIP AND DID THE CUB SURVIVE?!
See it's animals nature just like humans we fight for something and lose ourselves in the same way lions lose their own individuality while searching for food they get their pride

Thomas Schmidt Look what Hyennas do to lions. They will kill lone lions, young lions, old, sick, injured just because they hate lions with a passion. At least lions are merciful, especially with baby antelope, monkeys etc., A Hyenna has no mercy WHATSOEVER on nothing. They are merciless killers who even eat they're prey while it is still alive. At least most of the times lions will put their prey to sleep before they consume them. Compared to Hyennas, lions are gold.

A sad & disturbing to witness. The poor cub barely had its eyes open. Mum was inexperienced, didn’t seem to have motherly instincts. It would take a miracle this baby to survive. It’s been 4 years, more likely they’re disappeared.
It's not the lionesses fault. You see On here the stupid Cubs wander off And get lost. Once they have left The safety of the pride and mother, They are finished. So many predators in to eat them or they starve without The mothers milk.

Axel Barboza she most likely was a first time mother and wasn’t sure what to do. A first time mother do usually loose her cubs. As you can see the cubs are out in the open and around a dead prey that will attract other predators. Most of the time that means the cubs will not survive due to the mothers lack of experience with raising young. She should be hiding them for around 2 months until they can rejoin the pride.
Narly_Blue it was her lack of experience that made her do that. A lionesses who have raised young before know how to get them in right position to pick them up. Sometimes she uses a lot of time if the cub is not happy to be lifted but she wouldn’t pick the cubs up like that because that makes the cub afraid and stressed out and will make noises that can attract predators like hyenas and other lions. A cub lifted by the neck is calm and quiet.
Just a touch of mom and the baby immediately calmed down...so tiny and sweet❤🥰

Почувствовал маму, сразу замолчал. Малыши остаются малышами, хоть у кого . Даже у грозных охотников - львов.
