I live here in Hollywood I love it every day!
Truly. Not many people, Floridians included, really know about all the wonderful locations in Florida - right under our noses. There are so many nice beach towns within 60 minute drive of most places, even if we ourselves live in a nice location. So many quaint, well kept, clean beach towns abound, that most Floridians don't even bother to visit other places nearby. Happens when we live in a state full of natural beauty and seaside riches.

You can travel throughout Florida with small kids if you’re a wise parent who does their research and knows where to stay/visit.
I have small kids and live in Florida no problem. I live on the Treasure Coast.

I was just there a week ago, it was an amazing walk. It was great getting to see Hollywood beach again. You should definitely visit and try their ice cream. Also try to go visit Jaxsons ice cream in Hollywood as well.

Tell them to clean the damn beach, there's trash everywhere. I would be embarrassed if I was a resident of that city. Cig butts everywhere as you sink your feet into the sand, almost every step. And this was the offseason! I can only imagine what it's like when people are filling the beach up. Seriously nasty.

One of the areas I’ve started to research for towns to move to, love the proximity to Miami, and the keys without actually living in the big city, absolutely pristine beaches, and love the boardwalk as well. Clearwater, St. Petersburg, and Hollywood are my top 3 as of right now.
yea good point close to South Beach without being in Miami Metro
Hollywood is my favorite, but check out Venice, FL also.
The Clearwater/St. Pete area has horrible traffic. I’ve never been to Hollywood so can’t speak on that, but whenever we visit family in Tampa, the ride is a headache.
@@Marlaina Hollywood is a better choice for the reason you mentioned. Also Clearwater/ST Pete are sleepy towns and pretty much dead at night. So if someone likes lively places then South or South East Florida is the place to be

Your video is wonderful. We just drove A1 A last Saturday as we left Naples and drove over to the Atlantic coast to drive back north. I am going to look at some of these places you mentioned to stay for a week or two before we head to Naples next year for her snowbirds stay. I cant wait to walk these trails you showed!

South Broward is Beautiful from Hollywood, to Hallandale Beach, and Fort Lauderdale these are the best city in Broward County the night life and the Beaches are amazing great place to live and travel to.

Used to have family live that lived in Hollywood! Loved visiting them and picking oranges and grapefruit off the trees in the morning for breakfast and of course playing with the lizards

I see that you had your pooch 🐶 along for the trip; do you know if the beaches dog friendly or do they have restricted hours?
yea some beaches are like Dog Beach in this video. There is also on in next weeks video in Ft Lauderdale. I think as long as you clean up after your dog, and you are in a area with no life guards you should be ok, dont think people will bother you.

Very grateful for this video, I thank you, it is not only the fact of the video and your excellent work, which apparently many pass it by without understanding, which represents freedom and an excellent state administration, maybe that not many people understand it, for example, what the state governor is doing in order to heal the waters, which apparently Marcos Rubio did not do it and the governor personally doing now, you just have to watch the news on channel 10 and see his effort to improve the state of everything.
