    Thank you. I was actually following along. Paused video alot. Before I realized It was a hamburger, lol I was making it into an ice cream cone instead lol. So informative. I've had a few streamers tell me I should look into making twitch emotes. I just started using Procreate a couple months ago. Your is the first step by step video that say's what to do from start to finish. Thank you also for the two app's I had no clue about! Many thanks.

    Your way of resizing the emotes is so great! I've had a lot of ppl ask me how to resize in procreate since doing resizing using the resize option looks pretty crappy. I'll def have to try this method! Thanks for the extra info on your methods of making emotes in procreate, very useful!

    only about 3 minutes in and i love how you go over health in the frst part of the view. Thanks so much for sharing your trips and being caring. I too sit on the couch and draw on my ipad, only to be in pain after just an hour. My neck and back!! great video

    This is super helpful, when I made emotes in the past and they were too small.
    Also to help with avoiding the unwanted marks, you can set your iPad to only draw with the pen. It also makes it easier for procreate to recognize shortcuts

    I've never ever done digital art nor chibi style in my life but I've been wanting to try and create emotes for my streamer friends and this was so helpful and amazing! I'm feeling even more motivated to go and try but I don't know if I'm delusional for thinking I could do this when I've never done it before.

    You can change your settings to where you can only draw with the pencil so you don't need the glove! I have mine set to only do gestures with my fingers, and click settings and tools but I can't draw with anything more than my pencil!

    Ugh I loved your tutorial! You explained really well and at a good pace. I did watch other tutorials but yours was just different, it would be great if you made more! 🫶🏻 or if you just streamed it too, I’m now a fan lol. I just need to figure out my art style for when I can add emotes to my channel. And a friend of mine also wants me to make him emotes so I’ve been practicing 🙃
    Anyway thank you it was so helpful! I plan on watching it over some time again to follow along and make my own version of it, and going to make sure I have Google Drive set on my iPad and what not

    When resizing, do client ever complain about the pixilation difference?? I wasn’t sure how that worked! Thank you

      No issues at all when doing it within the app like I showed! I've had some issues when using free services online for resizing, because of the way they reorganize the pixels, it can look a little bit fuzzy when you bring it down to the 28 pixels.

    Just a little question. I was wondering how you get your lines so crisp? When I draw on such a small canvas obviously the pixels look very defined. Just wondering if there’s a way to minimize that?

      Try a higher dpi? I noticed she didn't mention it, but I use a 350 dpi and it looks smooth

      @@maeclownIt’s basically the quality of the drawing, the more DPI, the smoother it is! (300 DPI is recommended for most drawings)

      I control the quality when I resize it, versus letting Twitch do it

      For transparency, the rule of thumb is to always save the document as PNG!

      I always use 300DPI!

    Hi, thanks for your videos! Question, if you are resizing this way for an animated emote would you copy canvas for each layer into the new sized canvas? Or is there a better way for animated emotes... having a hard time figuring out resizing my animated emotes.

      Yep this is how I do it - I find it turns out better when I copy each layer separately to the smaller canvas. I’m not sure why but I’ve noticed a big difference this way!

    I've been hang lots of transparency issues on my ipad! Everytime I save transparent image either one sent to me or one i create on procreate a white BG ends up getting attatched and I dont know how to solve this issue! I want to create my own emotes and stickers but I keep getting stuck with white backgrounds

    Hi there, for adding shadows to the specific layer, how do you select just that layer to stay within and then shade on a new Layer? I didn’t see which tool you selected to do so. Thank you in advance!

      You can either do a clipping mask or you can select the layer and do a new layer overtop and shade that way. That’s the next tutorial. You can also watch my shading tutorial I uploaded which can help you

      No I do all my fonts afterwards in photoshop! Procreate's text feature is hot garbage (@procreate pls make it better)
