    Todos Santos is such a cute and pretty town and I didn't know about the artists! Just too hot for me which stinks because the sunsets look phenomenal. Thanks for the tour!

      I enjoy all of your videos. Your content is informative and resourceful. Todos Santos is a wonderful, yet expensive expat community. I enjoy visiting. However, the estimates in this video don't align with today's COLA.

    I figured this would be the case 20 years ago...too many Americans retiring in all the nice spots in Mexico and driving up prices. I am about to retire...and all the spots I check out are expat influenced economies...With my home paid off its hard to justify moving anywhere but the most remote places in Mexico...as far as finances go

      Many people with a great financial plan back home still move to Mexico. they find their costs are still lower and their money can go a lot further for longer. And not in the rural areas of Mexico

    What are the monthly averages for mosquitoes and humidity please, want to choose the best time to visit?

    • @MexicoRelocationGuide

      That info is best found with a quick google search :) There are entire websites dedicated to weather averages

      @ivonnear10 2 месяца назад

      Mosquitos depend…if you have a home with many plants that require lots of water, but if that’s not the case..really they are in,y present during raining season in the summer (august and sept). Humidity the same as mosquitoes and humidity thrive under similar conditions.

    Yes please can you comment on the water shortages here in Mexico.

    • @MexicoRelocationGuide
      @MexicoRelocationGuide  7 месяцев назад +1

      Water shortages are certainly a concern that should be followed. I recommend visiting the local city's government X accounts or Facebook pages to see what they say about water conservation. In the meantime, it's important for you to manage your own water supply by having a cistern/ tinaco depending where in Mexico you live.

      yes please id like to know that as well...we should be researching towns with the water shortages,,I can only imagine how frustrating it must be for locals if expats are having a hand in this,,dont know that I want to be part of that scene but Id love to go.

      yep. to say nothing about multi-million-dollar development of residential and commercial habitation, with nowhere to put "used" water but the ocean while facilities to deal with it haven't been built yet. One species of bird cannot use the bay for their seasonal visit to mate, as a result of the chemicals in their bay.

    Water shortage. And Hot and Humid wak! High 80’s all week Jajaja I’m warm alright. Lo lol yes lots of gringos. I grew up here. Housing is expensive! Cheapest place I’ve seen is in town for a little over 200k condo like place. Food is expensive but if you want to drive an hour Costco is in Cabo and Sam’s and City club is in La Paz. If you don’t like dirt don’t move here.
    Pacific Ocean is 5 minutes from me. Turtle rescue near me. I love it. But we are in Mexico. Not gringolandia.❤❤Very few long term rentals, unless you have mucho pinche dinero. I live in El rio with Mexican neighbors. I don’t like noise, Mexicans like to party… keep that in mind. My CFE this month was 430 pesos for 2 months. I don’t have AC.

    I’ve heard from a couple locals that while beautiful, there’s a relatively significant organized crime presence in TS, have you heard of this? I’m saying organized crime, but I’m sure you know what I’m really saying.

    • @MexicoRelocationGuide
      @MexicoRelocationGuide  7 месяцев назад +2

      I'm certain it exists everywhere in Mexico, not only in Todos Santos. And yet, I still think Todos Santos is perfectly safe. Not all criminal groups across Mexico go into full on shooting wars.

    • @brianjanusek4356
      @brianjanusek4356 7 месяцев назад

      I’m not talking about shootouts, and this is the only place in Mexico where I’ve been informed by locals. I was just asking if you had heard anything about it.
