You have to watch their live Austrian TV show version of "this flight tonight"
Shed many tears listening to this song in my teens . Had the 45
I recomend Nazareth 'hair of the dog' album. miss misery and changing times...
Got to see Nazareth live in '83. Wasn't more than 20 feet from the stage and they put on a GREAT show! They were the opening act for Billy Squire (Emotions in Motion tour) and when they finished, it seemed like half the crowd left. Turned out that Billy put on a pretty decent show, too.
Ha! I didn't know who sang this song but i like it. 👍
I wore this 45 out! Over & over. : ) One of my favs to this day.
Hey great stuff keep it going, please try Badfinger, “Day after day”. Thanks
Badfinger! Man there is a movie that needs to be made! That story is timeless!
Excellent song! 👍🏼
What makes this song is the solo and that chef's kiss bass
Even though this is a great song, in my opinion, their song Hair Of The Dog was better. Although it got NO radio play, react to find out why.
Whiskey Drinkin' Woman...or Don't Judas Me. (That whole damn album)
Wasn't Love Hurts the B side to Hair of the Dog? or do I have that backwards?
Yes! Please Don't Judas Me is one of my life theme songs! Hair of the Dog CD gets my housework started!!
Haha, its kinda crazy that the same band that sings "Love Hurts" also sings "Now you're messing with a sonuvabitch" lol
Yeah, "Hair of the Dog" is awesome. I remember Guns N Roses covered it on their Spaghetti Incident record and it was also a pretty cool version.
