If SEBi cannot deliver on the mandate given to them, why don't we shut it down ? We are dragging our feet without results. Its clear that Finance ministry/SEBI and powers that be are hand in glove to make a killing in the stock market and poor retailers lose out. Govt is sleeping over.
ALL REGULATORS likeRBI,SEBI,IRDA should hold a combined brainstorming session with intellectuals participationThey should Introspect and come out with a white paper with suggestions to improve their functioning..The Board members should be accountable for their failures.Nation has given the membership of these boards based on their achivements,These men of high caliber need to come out with suggestions for better accountablity in the interest of future generations of the country.
