    Such a cool backstory! Clearly playing into the fear that parents have after those myths grew popular of people putting things into their kids Halloween Candy. 🍬🍭

    This is the best sounding scare zone this year. I kind of wish based on the plot that it was a house

    For a minute there I thought it was an origin story for Julian Browning/the Usher. However when they mention candy making, I immediately knew that this was a Major Sweets origin story. My mind was blown. I am exited to see this scare zone to come alive.

    9:45-10:09 Just like Sweeney Todd/Benjamin Barker after he found out from Mrs. Lovett what happened to his wife after he was falsely imprisoned.
    In fact, this whole origin story sounds like Sweeney Todd. Think about it, you have a man who has to deal with the death of his loved one, he meets a woman who takes kindly to him and later becomes his partner in crime, and they both start an operation where they kill people so the man can seek revenge on those who caused his misery.

      And I think that his "loyal friend" may have had something to do with his parents' deaths. Think about it, she was the one who suggested poisoning the candy, so that establishes that she has a questionable moral standard; she's fixated on him; a visit to the scarezone reveals that "Miss Treats" is a black woman, "Major Sweets" is a white man, the murder of the parents happens in 1939 New York, where prejudice against black people was common; plus she was already in the theater when the boy arrived and found his parents dead.
      My guess is that the girl had a crush on the boy, and took the weekend job at the theater to be closer to him. The parents picked up on this, and likely forbade her from pursuing a romance with their son to avoid the scandal of their son dating a black woman. Pissed, she poisons the parents, and when her friend suspects the townspeople, she does nothing to discourage that line of thinking. Rather, she later convinces him to poison theatergoers, likely as revenge for the racism she herself faced from the town.

      @@Thoralmir Actually, that’s a pretty good way of explaining it.

    I’ve never been to hhn what is the difference between an original haunted house and a non original?

    • @mr.froglegs
      @mr.froglegs Год назад

      An original house is a house made up by Universal itself. Non Original/IP house is one inspired by a movie/TV show/Musician/album, like the Walking Dead houses or the Halloween house from this year or the Weeknd house from this year.

      @GearsofPizza83 Then there are ones that are in-between, like Bride of Frankenstein Lives from last year, which imagines a potential sequel to the original Bride of Frankenstein film.
