THIS is my very favorite story! I'm not a cat owner, but I did have a cat that I raised from a tiny kitten, apparently abandoned, or wandered away from his momma. I had him for 17 years. Auggie reminds me of him in every way. I've listened to this story countless times, and it's my 'go to' when i need instant relaxation and no time to pick a story. I can instantly relax, because I'm Auggie, looking out the window, having simple thoughts, and nothing else matters. Fantastic story!
I just started the video so I haven't listened yet but this is such a sweet comment -i recently got a kitten that's a fluffy black kitten and the idea of having his kitty thoughts is so sweet
It's now 03.52, and I still haven't gone to sleep, I'm so engrossed in this story that it keeps making me laugh, as a cat lover, I can just imagine him. I can't sleep, as I want to hear it all. It's just too entertaining to sleep for me. 😅😅 loving it. Will have to put a boring one on after xx
Simon's gentle, dramatic flair is the secret sauce helping me to fill my mind with the delicious details of Augie's perspective. Like a Silver Screen film or a well written book, I eventually fall asleep under its muted influence.
Please could Alicia write more Augie stories?! I love that it's from a cats POV and the little mannerisms are described so perfectly, I can see every little cat movement so clearly in my mind.

Today I found out I have covid I have been battling with lupus every night I have trouble sleeping cuz of my bones that hurt so I listen to Mr. Thomas Read his lovely stories and his nice voice that helps me relax forget my pain and I go to sleep thank you Mr Thomas 😴

I know there are some listeners who complain about the background music, but for me, the music assists me in falling asleep, and staying asleep for a few hours at a time, and then I just go back to the beginning, and repeat...❤❤
