I read the one star reviews -- not too good. I ended up buying the original spout gas caps also on Amazon in a 2 pack, and I just leave the spout in place. They haven't leaked any gas or fumes. The can even expands with heat but still keeps in the fumes.
It worked much better when you retried the cap on the first one. Sometimes it takes a couple of tries to get the cap and gasket to seat correctly. Thanks for sharing Jeff!
Yep, sometimes a container needs to have the cap screwed on a couple times to seat the gasket well. 👍🏽🤠 07/01/24
