the story about diggy reminded me of the time i went to the ER at 2 am and got MORPHINE…all to find out i had heartburn😂 glad he’s doing much better🤍
i called 911 cause i thought i was going into anaphylactic shock after eating potatoes cause it was so painful to breathe and i couldn’t swallow…. it was heartburn. i was MORTIFIED
Omg I went to the ER for the same thing!! It was weird cause the pain was from my sternum to belly button and I could barely walk up the stairs. It was an expensive bill for it to just be heartburn 😂

Literally snorted when you said it was a tiny piece of poop and tummy ache! Man, the things we do for our fur babies! Who needs some new fall outfits when you can spend thousands at the vet?!? Diggy is very lucky to have a caring mama!

OMG I'm glad he's okay! We had a similar (but much less intense) experience years ago with my dalmatian. She was not acting herself, acting all sick pupper, took her to the vet, did all the tests, turned out she just needed to fart really really badly and when she did was it DEADLY.
😭 I felt like this last month! So stressing with one of my dogs too one thing after another! She was diagnosed with Hertworms then a heart murmur so we did X-rays and the another scan on the heart and then they found her intestines swollen so she was diagnosed with parasites 🥲 she’s has been sooo good during 3 years that we had her but we do all for them we love them too much ❤hope Diggy feels better sending love from my fur kids for him !

Love seeing the Moose and Diggy content we are about to get a puppy, and we have an 9yr old dog who has the most only child energy ever and hates sharing attention. But we are hopeful!
I work at a vets office and I hope you have pet insurance cause the tests and diagnostics and treatment and ER visits are not cheap 😩

Honestly though so glad diggy is doing well and wasn’t anything worse! So that’s always a yay!! Even tho the medical bills would’ve been insane so that’s a bit shit but mostly digs health is important so that’s good he’s okay!

You are such a good dog mom! I am a couple days behind you in a "discovery" visit. I took my dog to get lab work done to make sure he's healthy enough for anesthesia for a deep teeth cleaning and they told me that an enzyme related to his liver and gallbladder is like triple what it should be, so now I have to start him on an iron supplement, wait to test him again, with the potential need to get him an ultrasound. 😵💫
Lauren how are we the exact same person!? This past weekend I dealt with the same shit with my doggo and relate so heavily on anxiously going down the rabbit hole of dog web MD and wondering what he could’ve gotten into without me watching him. He’s fine now but also took him to the urgent vet & spent $$ just for them to say they aren’t to sure what made his tummy upset but he’s fine now and ate his bland diet and kibble like nothing happened😅
Dogs are crazy resilient and I’m glad your Diggy is overall ok and thanks for always being relatable no matter what!❤

I have stomach problems and so does my emotional support cat 😅 her problems cost me a couple thousand every year, but we love each other so it’s okay

I LOVE LOVE LOVE bull terriers (especially your boys Lauren) but it is kind of heartbreaking all of these literal deformities we have put on them in the name of breed standards. It’s the same with pugs and dachshunds too, like they’re so stinking cute but there are so many breed-specific problems. 😢
Exactly. Dogs are the absolute best creatures to grace this earth, but everything we're doing to continue these "breed standards" or to keep them cute so that we can enjoy their aesthetics are at the expense of their health and well-being. Especially, like you said, flat-nosed breeds, dachshunds, even Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. These dogs have so many health issues and are so uncomfortable and sometimes even in pain because of generations of inbreeding. If people feel that they NEED a purebred dog, please please please do your research to at least find a breeder who breeds for health above all else. And remember, there are so so many dogs out there in shelters that are looking for homes! Many of which get put down because no one adopts them and there isn't enough space in shelters or foster homes to take them until adoption. It all just breaks my heart.

Crazy that I’m seeing this. The past week I found out my dog had hip dysplasia and she had similar symptoms. She’s only 7 months old though and it’s from dislocated hips. Crazy
Rushed our giant GSD (very carefully) to the emergency vet one morning when we found that he couldn't walk and was DRAGGING his back legs. All to find out... tummy ache. Bit of chicken and rice for 2 days and he was good to go again. Could not believe!

My 14 year old dog did kind of the same thing! He stopped jumping and doing stairs. He would whimper when I picked him up. His was also a belly ache 🙄 Two days of prescription food and he was good to go!

My dog had pancreatitis and he was on science diet prescription low fat food and pancreacare enzyme sprinkled on his food each meal
Dogs in general mask pain really well! Super sad that we won’t really know how much pain they are in 🥺
Giving lil Diggy some pumpkin puree should help with his watery poop. my dog has weird something problems and giving her pumpkin puree helps and some white rice and egg should help his stomach.
