The tomato feta pasta dish looks yummy! Love gardening videos.. but I must say , watching bloggers garden is not my reality. Bloggers have full make up and hair perfectly styled and fairy tale ,diaphanous, flowing dresses and skirts. Billowy tops that look like a movie shoot. I wear collar, long sleeve shirts to avoid sun damage... usually a hat or visor, garden gloves that are only pretty and pristine the first day I wear them! Sneakers or flip flops and jeans or shorts.

You are doing amazing Jenna 👩‍🌾! A few things I’ve learned; Peat pots don’t always break down fast enough. Breaking the bottom of the pot when planting will assure the roots aren’t constrained.
Sara Raven a renowned gardener from Europe swears by planting salvias at base of roses with black spot. They release sulfur that helps keep it at bay .
    Definitely trying this recipe 🍅

Your garden is looking great! Keep experimenting with perennials for your location. Sometimes it's worth the effort to go to a higher end local garden center and pick their brains for recommendations. I never had success with lavender but the salvia does mimic the look. Russian sage has muted green leaves with delicate purple flowers, very hardy. Dianthus has done well for me, magenta color. Bee Balm comes in a few colorways, grows tall but can spread like wild fire. Clematis is a climber with white or purple flowers. I like a tight color for my garden. I do pinks, magenta and white. Roses and hydrangea are my jam.

If you find that you like a tomato, you can easy take the seeds from the tomato, lay them on a old news paper or what ever you have. Let the dry ind a window, and save them for next year. It is super easy, and I have had great success with when. (You don't have to reins the seeds and so on)

Blue Jean Russian Sage would be really nice flanking both sides of the arbor near the olive tree and on the opposite side. They love the hot dry areas and offer a beautiful purply blue color plus they smell amazing. Just cut back to 1-2 inches in late winter early spring and they’re good to go.
