- This is a quick introduction to optimization in Cadence. I optimize a voltage divider circuit to output a specified voltage. This simulation takes place in ADE XL and I show you how to set it up step by step. Setting up the simulation may take a while, but running the simulation takes less than a minute. This is definitely quicker than designing the circuit by hand.
Feel free to subscribe because I will be making videos similar to this one! Have a good day :)

Things they didn't teach in uni. well explained.
This meant great for my internship.
Very informative!
Thanks a lot, very useful
Thanks! Can this be done for transient analysis as well? For example, optimizing inverter sizing to meet particular delay or rise/fall times for a given load?
Yes it can! You just need to write an expression for the rise/fall times and then set your goal.
@@speedyzebra210 thanks, I did run and my test only picks the reference initial values and stops after 3 times. Maybe something with parameters that is messing up. Will try out and your videos are helpful!
could you please tell me how to save the results after obtaining the results from monte Carlo analysis, iam unable to save the results
