It sounds like a great idea but the adding cards from VTuber Agencies like Hololive could prove to be tricky

I learned a lot through these presentations, it gives a glimpse of Filian's nature and her community.
I love how Rekson is basically Filian's brother at this point. The moment he pops up you can hear the joy leave her body.
Sidenote I still want to see that Vtuber card game become real Reckson! I know you’re lurking around somewhere!

I love how one of the most well-known mods in her twitch stream and discord basically got called out in the first presentation.
Also, we didn't even need a Rekson presentation this time around, because someone already had done one this time around. Rekson's presentation actually isn't a bad concept after all. Japanese companies have done anime/idol card games before, but this would be western specific.

Someone needs to badger Reckson to actually make Vtuber Tactics. Just without the big agency talent, as they would probably have a thing or two to say about using liknesses.
Sadly, a VTuber game without well-known VTubers just isn't the same. Look at the Neptunia spin-off series that combines both Neptunia and VTubers, Neputina Virtual Stars. They only managed to get two well-known VTubers included (as DLC), the GOAT Kizuna Ai and Towa Kiseki. Everything else was OC in the game. The biggest draw would be the jokes and other tidbits included with each streamer which fans would know.
We need these cards to be real

They should actually make that card game. Since vtubers get cancelled for a variety of reasons, it would probably be best to only have the cards exist digitally rather than as actual cards so certain ones could be temporarily taken out of circulation and replaced with a less controversial version. Large vtuber organizations would likely be available only in DLC/special packs after the game grew large enough to warrant their interest. But this could actually be a game.
Alternatively, a card game using mostly fake vtubers could exist, but with real vtubers being available as super rare cards. You wouldn't need a hundred real vtubers to fill out the ranks, just a dozen or so.
