You can EASILY make pumpkin puree at home.
Place a washed pie pumpkin on a rack over 1.5 cups of cold water in the inner pot of an Instant Pot. Cook for 15 minutes on high pressure. Remove the pumpkin, discard the stem and skin. Scoop flesh into one bowl, remove seeds to another, and mash away.
