You should really do a full instructional. This gave me a really good idea how all this works and what I need to do, but having a bit more context would help. Awesome Vid though!
Ok, after 1 year of planning i have these tools: Good lighting ✅ Good table ✅ Acrylic paints ✅ Painting brushes ✅ Chavant NSP Hard clay ✅ Sculpting tools ✅ ZButt system ✅ Lego bricks ✅ 3 cups ✅ 3 sticks ✅ Gloves ✅ Respirator ✅ MoldStar30 ☑️ (soon) Epoxacast 690 ☑️ Ease Release 200 ☑️ Epoxy Resin Colors ☑️ Pressure Pot ❌ California AIR TOOLS 2010A air compressor ❌ I hope next year to have all required tools :D Before that also need to get information about resin casting, molds and so on..
temporarily switched to metal detecting.. but i still learning how to paint, this knowledge will help to create interesting colorful keycaps :) About pressure pot.. good manufacturer means safe work, so a little investitions must be made. Also a lot of useful information about keycaps i found in z-butt discord channel
Thanks foir the great tutorial and amazing Electro tracks (you Sir have great taste ! ) * goes back to dancing in the workshop to the sound of the video *
14:40 - whaaat????? What prevented you from using a syringe to pour the mix into a mold? you have a lot spilled by, and the whole process turned out to be dirty ...
Brilliant. Have you continued with this or was that just a one-off? What type of plastic is that you are using for the caps? How does it compare with ABS/PBT?
I mean why did u feel up the stem, better way to ask? Wanna sculpt top bottom and then mold just bottom part of key cap, its cherry mx stem, so should i fill up the + area of mx stem? Sry if this is confusing question, its confusing for me as well ,lol. Thx for video!
Great video, but I noticed you saying that you'd wear gloves on the sanding wheel at higher speeds, wouldn't that pose a risk of the material of the glove catching and causing greater injury?
I don't always mix things...
...but when I do, I do it with a drill press

Hi. Here's a question. With the transparent lid of the degassing chamber. What's the other chamber for?
Can you 3dprint a mold for the q tips?
Awesome video. Add my voice to the chorus of, would absolutely love a truly instructional video with best practices in it.
And if you don’t have a pressure pot?
touch sensitive fuck yeah
Nice work! What kind of glue did you use to glue the hole punch sticks in the silicone mold?
the song is so sick!!
Great job! Could you please tell me what kind of degas pressure pot are you using? Thank you in advance!

How did the bottom of the key fit on it looked like deformed did u drill it out or something?
I think he just sat it on the keeb for the video. They are not functional without a proper stem, such a waste of time.
this is beautiful!!!
that guy is crazy!!!!
Shoulda kissed me when u had the chance
Please make more content!
nice work!
Awesome! Do you sell artisan keycaps like those or others? Need one/some for my new Planck! Good job!

ASMR For Dogs leather gloves work just fine.
Agreed. Generally when working with any high RPM machine you don't wear gloves.
Source: have experience working in a machine shop
do you sell this ?
nice video, why do you vacuum the resin?
It's to pull all the dissolved gas and/or bubbles out of the mixture to allow for a good cast.
Great video man! Where did you get that usb cord?
best value vac chamber huh? i wonder what else your purge with it? :P
Will this work with a cherry keycap?
Same exact process, except putting the sprue on the stem is a little trickier.
pro job :D
the fucking music is mad annoying
