I was saving up my kidneys for festool.. then i watched the AvE BoLTR review and decided i didnt need dialysis after all.. makita is doing a fine job at a fraction of the cost..
My grandfather had a workshop that was heated with a stove that was fueled with saw dust. When I would visit it was my job to collect the saw dust and the next day I got to stoke the fire and load the saw dust in the hopper.
It's funny, a lot of festools look cheap but are apparently great. Haven't caught on completely in the US, just at good lumber yards, might try at some point
It's actually fine sawdust spread out in a confined space with a heat source/ sparks/ ignition source that is dangerous. Similar to flour or sugar dust spread out in a factory or mill.
I used to bring home all that ( esp from joiner and planer ) And spread around my new trees and other bushes . I found the trees grew nicely .😃✅. I do not think you need a Festool $$$ for this tho. Any vacuum.😮
Just sit on the bag as you tie it. Does just as good if u really try to use ur legs to help compact it and u get up multiple times to get as much air out.
This guy always has a smile on his face, don’t forget mate if you want to get rid of any of your stuff I’ll gladly take it off your hands free of charge. And I’ll pay the postage 😅👍
Anyone else notice the cockroach crawling in the bottom of the video? Bonus!! Not sure why but I saw it right away 😂 Seriously love the videos though…amazing woodworking 🤩🤩
Festool has amazing products that are all of the highest quality but along with the high quality comes the most expensive price tag the tools are worth it if you have the money to blow on them but truthfully cheaper tools get the job done and will probably with care last just as long.
One time I packed a suitcase like that, when I got to my destination my suitcase came into the conveyor half opened and duct taped, apparently TSA decided to open and check my bag and they couldn't get it back closed, sucks but oh well
This guy gets to get more festool products the more people argue about festool products. Livin the life.
The little spider is crawling away before it gets sucked in 😅😂
Nice job brother! I love it when people actually think about what they are doing! Big fan!
I appreciate that
I like this guy
Gets so much done without a word said.
👍👌👏 Simple and therefore ingenious. Congratulations 🎉 and my respect. 2) Happy new year 🎉

I'll have to try that. Looks like it works pretty good.
I like your meticulousness and neatness
Woah, you nearly reduced the volume by 7%. Very impressive.
Now this material is ready for shipment to IKEA.
When you owe Festool a kidney

I've done this too store winter blankets before. Use a heavy weight trash bag and throw in a couple of dryer sheets they come out nice and fresh.
You gotta pretty sweet shop.
Simple and great idea that I wish I had thought of! :)
Glad you like it!

This was so nice to read😃 I used to do exactly the same thing, back in the days at my grandfather...
This is going to get a bajillion views.

That vacuum setup costs more than all my tools combined
Shoutout to the wondering bug on the floor!
What do you think it was wondering about? Probably crumbs and stuff, huh
🙌
More than one bug since you mentioned it.
Wondering and wandering to very different meanings. 😂😂

I waited a long time before getting them and have upgraded most of my tools to Festool now 🙌👍
I saw that trick. I've been thinking about building a sawdust briquette press, to use the sawdust for fire starter logs in the fireplace. :-)
Cool, have some fun!
Not sure but I heard this was a fire hazard. Something about compressed sawdust. I really don't know I could be wrong. Just something to consider.
It's actually fine sawdust spread out in a confined space with a heat source/ sparks/ ignition source that is dangerous.
Similar to flour or sugar dust spread out in a factory or mill.
Grande ideia !!!❤❤
🙌
So you donate that to feed stores right? Chickens, horses etc can use in their areas
Some get used for horse bedding, some for gardens and some gets burned for heat 👍
❤
The moving bugs on the ground are looking to promote the Milwaukee brand ? 😀
🤣
How are you vacuuming air but not sawdust? Is there a filter involved?
Where did you bring it, you sell it or you just threw away? I think it can be processed to be another kind of wood in a factory
Some get used for horse bedding, some for gardens and some gets burned for heat 👍
I like your work. I wish I could get an experience from you.

That collection of Festool must be so expensive, I bet one is probably more expensive than my 8 tool kit from craftsman
I like to take and add a little vegetable oil to my saw dust and it makes for a great bushcraft fire starter
In hs I used my saw dust and some water and a brick press and made bio bricks with it all
Awesome. Here Some get used for horse bedding, some for gardens and some gets burned for heat 👍
I send mine over to mom's workshop, her guys over there use it to mop the eternal oil leak from the old Siemens machines 😂

I tried this with my $500 Bosch, it just doesn't do anything to the bag. I've read the online guide and turns out it wasn't expensive enough 😢
Mix with equal parts grass clippings and you can make one hell of a compost. If you know any gardeners.
Please tell me price 👍🤔😁
Woww..so good vacium..😊
I know carpenters who absolutely love this system I love it too it's fantastic
👏👏
What will you do with that dust? Particle wood?
Whats the point? Are you shipping it or throwing it out?
Just sit on the bag as you tie it. Does just as good if u really try to use ur legs to help compact it and u get up multiple times to get as much air out.
Ok, but what keeps sawdust from being sucked out with the air?
Never saw a vacuum cleaner like that.
What's up with all the critters on the shop floor? Are you going to vacuum those as well?
