The Encyclopedia Britannica was the pre-digital source of information in homes. My parents had a huge set in the 1960s and 1970s, and got supplemental volumes annually with new info. With any new topic that came up at supper, we'd head to the Encyclopedia to learn about it.
Nice to see a untouched explore! Also nice to see that the belongings have been taken with them as it’s very sad when all old photos etc are left aswell! Thanks for your work x
What an absolutely lovely find! I love that this house has remained untouched, no graffiti or any damages. So rare to find one in that state. I read someone has bought it, so that's wonderful news. I know you are a skeptic but I felt some heaviness in the downstairs room with the green carpet (that you said really smelled) and upstairs had some heaviness to it. Very strange to say the least. But what a very nice find, I really enjoyed it. Can't wait to see more from you and be safe out there!💜
I have never seen a fireplace in a hallway! The fireplace with the house's/building structure in front of it was so nice. I can imagine how wonderful it looks with a fire behind it 🏚️ 😊
Really enjoyed the tour! The green on the copper range hood in the kitchen would be from oxidation. I learned in chemistry class that copper turns green when it oxidizes.
Really cool house. Seems a bit different then the ones you normally explore. Those were some really cool old books, and they didn't seem in too bad of shape. My Granny used to use one of those key wallets back in the 60's and 70's, they thing you found on the floor in the closet. Very neat find.
Hi!im new here I think I found u thru Moreno & Remons channel Explomo.anyway I wanted to say when I see books left behind in these places I want to rescue them,it breaks my heart to see them just rotting away.this place is so sad with all that mold,u should be wearing a mask & gloves.u could get extremely sick not wearing 1.as u walk thru this place it all looks 1970s,I guess whoever lived here didn't want to do any updates.at around 16:29,that shower is weird but it comes off & becomes a hand held.they came out with this around the 1980s.so u could take a bath & rinse off or take a shower holding it.thank u for sharing an amazing place & documenting a piece of history :-)
Those encyclopedia s are beautiful and very old maybe 70s,I remember my parents collecting then from something like points from shell garages on fuel or co op coupons
Another great explore mate 😎👍🏻 me and the Mrs really enjoy watching your videos and love seeing some of the old stuff you come across 👍🏻 I remember Garfield as a kid 😆 and seeing that lamp shade brought back a few memories!! The only bad point on this video was that we couldn’t hear you! Music was at a good level just couldn’t hear everything you were saying 😊 Cheers bro keep up the good work 😎💪🏻🇬🇧 big respect
Hey guys, that's really quite a nice looking house to be long time abandoned great vid, to bad those old books will just be decayed away soon. Any way great vid👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Amazing explore. Love watching your videos. You forgot to add the links and website for the head torch in the description! Look forward to the next explore
Awesome explore! I can’t believe such a place hasn’t been found by vandals. Would love to know what the experiences were you both had to make you want to get out ASAP.
great explores fella, I enjoy the videos, if there was one thing I could change and it may be my settings, but is there anyway you could turn up your mic volume I always struggle to here you, keep up the good work dude.
@yossarian I remember it was my grandparents that got to afford a colour tv first with accident compensation in 1969 my step grandfather got a large one in a teak cabinet with sliding doors, all I ever heard on it at the time was Lou Macari over to Lou Macari.... loooool
Great house , decor from the 80s , would have loved to see the outside, but I suspect it’s probably 1920s , high ceilings with picture rail and fire place every room is a give away, wish you had said a bit more what you experienced spooky wise , as I love anything paranormal, also the encyclopaedias you looked at the whole collection, noticed one said 2014 ,
Oh thats where I left my Portsmouth map. Help yourself to a shower but you'll have to bring your own towels. Yeah, we have a lot of books & honestly had to leave a few behind.
I absolutely love your videos. However, it breaks my heart to see such beauty just wasting away. And those books. What a travesty. Being a massive bookworm, seeing those old books rotting away, just breaks my heart. Is there no one that you can report these findings to, in the hopes that they can be rescued and possibly restored and displayed? Or any of the other vintage and antiques you come across in your other videos. Such a shame to see all that history just being tossed like regular garbage. Keep up the great videos. Faithful follower from Canada.
Looks like they were in an undecided state of limbo between gas central heating and gas fires. I wonder if they knew the flue to the chimney was constantly open on the gas fires.
What gets me about these abandoned houses, is don't you guys do any research on them, I'm fascinated as why they've become abandoned, what's the reason for it, also why haven't they been sold off, it's such a waste of a fantastic property to decay over the years to nothing, it's a massive shame, when so many need a home to live in.
Please please don't give this address out because once the other well known explores get in they'll be nothing left because we all know they help themselves to anything that they can make money from which is horrendous!!

The photography and accompanying music in your intro is excellent. You do find some interesting places. Gill 😊

So sad just needs some love. Thanks for sharing
The green stuff on copper is natural and is a great way of telling 1) it’s real copper and 2) how old it is
I would love to have those old books! I wish I knew who owned the home so I could buy them! I live in America but I would pay the shipping. 😁

15:18 Stephen is an alternative to Steven. It's pronounced the same way (not Steffen) ;)

First clip of encyclopedias shows one of them as 2014 book of the year
Great place thank you for taking us along, really creepy vibes there but it was great to see
Can imagine that was a lovely family home once 😊 lovely explore as always 👍🏽
CREEPY GARFIELD😨😀GOOD EXPLORER, MY FRIEND. GREETINGS FROM PORTUGAL🌜🌞🌞🌻🌞🌞🌛
I like the way the keyholder next to the front door is a large wooden key itself especially handy for car thieves with fishing rods loooool
I remember now we had one of those wall heaters in our bathroom, safe so children couldn't touch it. Sarah must be about 30 now :)
I liked this house some nice touches, I lived in a house that had all those individual tiles for worktops- not that hygienic. Great find🌹
Andy Sealey on there now 👍🏽😊
Great find really enjoyed watching
I'm loving all your explores,so much I subscribed 😊
The green stuff on top of the hood is probably from where the fat and grease is mouldy, they get like that fairly easily
A very nice big old house.
Awesome explore! I can’t believe such a place hasn’t been found by vandals. Would love to know what the experiences were you both had to make you want to get out ASAP.
The Phillips TV is circa 1983 , haven't looked it up so please correct me if I'm wrong
Your channel was recommended by RUclips. Very well made and interesting video. Subscribed.
Mango Jones thank you 🙏🏽😊
What a lovely place. I did find your light a bit bright, it actually gave me a headache from the glare, apart from that it was a great vid
Nice one m8y 😎
I really enjoyed your video.
🙂🍻👍🏻
Wow, that hall wallpaper, (the one above) we bought in 1990, for our spare bedroom in our first home. How strange to see it again, and how ugly it was
In the first library there was a book from 2014 so it wasn't abandoned very long.
great explores fella, I enjoy the videos, if there was one thing I could change and it may be my settings, but is there anyway you could turn up your mic volume I always struggle to here you, keep up the good work dude.
Nice dwelling
Respect as always.
What's the power still on how far off was that clock??
Those are 80s Vauxhall car keys hanging up
I do like to see the outside and the walk up to the property if I’m honest. Any reason why you visited when it was dark?
My girlfriend was on a night out and sadly the only time I had to get there at the time 🙈
Here’s an idea. In case anyone called the police ?
I would like to know how you find these amazing places love your videos please don’t say how you find them in the comments
All books have a print date on the first few pages.
Wouldn't be surprised it the tv was from the seventies most seem to still be wood then though.
@yossarian I remember it was my grandparents that got to afford a colour tv first with accident compensation in 1969 my step grandfather got a large one in a teak cabinet with sliding doors, all I ever heard on it at the time was Lou Macari over to Lou Macari.... loooool
broo ... those can get expensive real quick
3:03 looks like green algae
Suspect those old small square pin sockets are from the sixties.

😂
A very rare find - a house that hasn't been trashed
👍good video but shame not much in it tho 😃
that wallet thing was a key holder keeps keys in a wallet not to catch in your pocket

If those books fell on you you really would be going through the period of enlightenment looooool

Why didn’t you film the incident?!?!

That tiled area between the sink and the cooker honestly whoever came up with that one must be a gluten for punishment for cleaning
It's possible there could be ghosts.
Liked the video but couldn't hear anything you were saying.
Download an amplifying app doesn't take up much storage.
It's not creepy, just sad.
