I want to do this to my single cab, that looks so cool. My compa and I were wondering if it's too much hassle to cut an extended cab into a single cab.
Man,for such a tight area to work in,you make it seem like there plenty of room to do it all. You my friend are a badass!! I admire your enginuity on making it work with what room you have. 😁 keep up the good work El Gallo!! We all stand behind you and support you my brotha!!💪😎
These trucks had 3 different bed sizes. The long bed, the standard bed (aka the short bed as everybody calls it), and the crew cab short bed which is an even shorter bed
just bought a 03 Chevy RCLB yesterday so i have a couple of questions #1 could i cut the sides of beds to turn into a shortbed? #2 would i have to get a new gas tank, fuel lines, & brake lines? #3 can i get a new oem driveshaft to fit instead of a custom one?
I'm doing a long bed to crewcab short bed on a 05 Silverado and you're gonna need a gas tank from.a short bed or an extended cab truck as the long ed tank is too long. You're gonna have to source a new bed as its easiest than cutting the old one apart.
@@Pressedsteelcustomsllc appreciate the reply, i was able to source a couple of shortbeds out in El Paso but all 3 sellers bailed out on me, but i know a shop in Phoenix, Az that would cut the bed up itself im not too worried about the cost overall because ima be doing majority of the work myself like cutting frame and the little stuff it’s just the bed if i can’t find a reliable seller and i would be okay with the fuel and brake lines that are already on the truck or no?
Shessh cant wait to see it completed brother 👌🏾 definitely took it to the right man for this job 💯
You gonna have a nice truck and big props to you for trusting this dude!! Hes definately a beast
Why are "gm" frames so lame, I wouldn't mess with such a bendable piece & there's better manufacturers by far

Looking forward to seeing what’s next 👍🏻👍🏻
Going to look dope bro keep up the great work brotha 🤘💯
Gallo - have you done a 96 converison ?? long bed to short ?? Those frames are wacky
If you're looking to move the rear back a inch, they make offset blocks for that
Under the cab is the best spot same place the factor does the rear frame section
Im doing a 2007 silverado reg cab short stepside bed took a extended cab frame and shorten it
Pretty crazyyyy
I’m picking up my 84 chevy Silverado long bed tomorrow and would like for you to do the SWB conversion. How can I reach you?? 11/24/22
How can I contact you señor?
Do they make blocks with the locating pin moved back? Since he's going to need a driveshaft anyway.
Corto la cabina?
Did this project start off as a Longbed??

Was this a long bed converted to short bed or are the beds different
Single cabs have 6.5’ longer beds than the crew cabs 5.5’ . We put the crew cab bed on it.
Cool love it
How much did this cost if I want to
Take off the leaf springs sucks put some coilovers with springs and helps for biger and wider tire without leafs
He will he’s just doing his project in steps so he will be converting over in the future
