It’s about understanding the other persons point of view.
But I want to be understood.
Yes, I know.
But people will only understand you
if they feel you are really understanding them.
Being understood is important to everyone.
If you really want others to understand your ideas,
you must first seek to understand their ideas.
Good communication is as much about listening as it is talking.
Seek first to understand… then to be understood.”
