Neil Degrasse Tyson gets so excited to educate. It is comparable to how Steve-O gets excited to entertain. And the way Steve-O entertains has evolved, but always entertaining.
Neil said something completely wrong, a dipthong is not at all what he said. Its when you have 2 vowels next to each other in a word but they only make one vowel aound, like "near" or "ear". The e and the a just sound like one vowel

This episode was so damn good. Probably my favorite episode of any podcast this year. I'm a big Bobby Lee universe fan, watch a few other comics' podcasts, and honestly can get a bit annoyed with Neil deGrasse Tyson after a while..... but this podcast was riveting. The entire time. Y'all easily could have gone another 30 or another hour.
Yea I wasn't so riveted. Neil is insufferable. Its not what he knows, I respect his vast knowledge in science. All the studying and work he's dedicated can't not be understated. But lordy this guy is so irritating. He is around people that he feels he's smarter than and has put himself on a pedastool of the all knower. How many questions did he ask them? Zero. I have a pet peeve against know-it-all personality types.
Honestly, I kind of can't believe I watched the whole thing. But I really appreciate the closing statement in regards to climate change and whether or not we're all screwed. I feel like saying "No, just get the smart people on it" (Obviously that's not word for word) Makes so much sense. We can't refute that talented minds are the reason I'm making this comment today. Technology is moving so fast that if it's not blowing your mind a little, you're not thinking enough. I'm only 34 and I can tell you that watching the development of televisions, gaming systems, automobiles, and so many other things change, it's just unreal. While the world isn't perfect and things are hard right now and will be on and off throughout the rest of time, I'm actually very happy to be alive to see it.
Ever notice how NGT is never seen discussing things with other actual scientists? Doing podcasts with comedians and the like. Wonder if he knows better because of the crap he denies.
I’ve seen him discussing with other astrophysicists and he was asking questions like he doesn’t know dick! I forget who he was talking to but it confirmed for me he’s just a propagandist. A preacher of “the science”

He’s got mental problems and works for the deep state. I can’t believe Steve actually even entertained this… maybe years ago but now? After all Neil has said in public getting into arguments over insane things??? Wtf Steve o losing my respect here. Probably got a big check.
Neil Degrasse Tyson - what a man. I'm personally very old school when it comes to gender, but the way he was able to explain this to me is just captivating. "If you say Ladies and Gentleman, but someone is neither, then you're really not speaking to them. And you want to speak to them" It's so true
Some people are neither? I feel like a black, budist, 80 year old president of Nigeria. Race, religion, age, position in society and nationality. All less important then gender, yet, am I any of those things just cause I think/feel so? The MF is ridiculous. Smart people also have dumb ideas, ask Einstein.
there are literally intersex people born with both genitals and people being born with neither, born with XXY chromosomes, people who can produce both gametes, etc.etc. don't let your political beliefs or absolutist dogmas interfere with your ability to think freely, bro ;) @@jeremyterkelsen2518

It's always the people who want to be there doing the work that they are producing, since it's the interpersonal interactions and nuance that captivate people's attention.
ABSOLUTELY MY FAVORITE episode! You're all fantastic ❤
Steve didn't have to worry about talking over his guest with this one 😉
Neil is the “Prince of Pontification”, and I love him.
Neil Degrasse Tyson gets so excited to educate. It is comparable to how Steve-O gets excited to entertain. And the way Steve-O entertains has evolved, but always entertaining.
Neil has lost all credibility when he said chromosomes wasn’t enough. He’s a woke clown now here more proof 1:12
God, they asked the PERFECT questions, so much illuminating information and clarifications on topics I had prior false data on.
Glorious episode!
Neil said something completely wrong, a dipthong is not at all what he said. Its when you have 2 vowels next to each other in a word but they only make one vowel aound, like "near" or "ear". The e and the a just sound like one vowel
"I just like to believe things" so relatable 😂
Neil Degrasse Tyson is one of my favorite people to listen to on earth.
Who cares who interrupts who? I always learn fascinating science when Neil is around.Thank you, Neil!!!
This made me a little smarter. Thanks Steveo!!!
NEIL'S A GENIUS!
It's awesome how Neil can communicate with anyone.
Freaking great episode. Knowledge is fun
I could listen to Neil talk all day long. Even if I don't completely understand what he's saying, I find all of it interesting.
Wow, Neil interrupts! I’d love to get him in a room with Bert Kreischer.
Ive been waiting for this for a while! Definitely need him back 😊
8:52 the way Wendy looks at Neil when he says Fundy haha.
I don't think reincarnation is real. But I think DNA could possibly hang on to memories. Memories being stored in DNA is scientific, and not that crazy.
This is genuinely one of the most educational podcasts…. With Steve-O , fantastic!!!
Educational? Its a bunch of nonsensical BS
@@joshuamarish4765 Right!! Blows my mind that people think NDT is still relevant in any type of cultural discussion. Steve O is just grifting at this point. Just another hollyweird shill, sad really. I rarely even watch his show anymore.
@@joshuamarish4765 what was nonsensical about it ? Its just a conversation.. wasnt very deep

Absolutely engaging 👏🏼 well done guys
That was a great collaboration & loved every minute! Steveo is such great value!
One of the top 5 Steveo pod casts!
You enjoy Bobby Lee,, your input is not valid
Huh? StarTalk is literally just talking to scientists😂. And plenty of them give pushback which I enjoy. He has a comedian co-host though.
What are you talking about?
Wtf are you waffling about? He has a podcast where that’s basically all he does. blindly hating 💀
when neil said that paul was clearly the sharpest dude in the van, i died laughing lol
1:00:16 one of the more brilliant lines I've heard from a podcast
*What a time to be alive!*
Honestly One of the most enjoyable podcasts I’ve seen in a while. Neil is one of my favorite people and obviously all you guys just soaking everything in was so entertaining to witness.
I want to know his theory about birth marks/ beauty marks. Started talking about it twice but never got it out.
I hate how when someone says something correct (or at least something he presumes correct) in front of Neil he acts surprised that they are even correct in the first place...he does this constantly
When steveo met his match and decided to diss Neil during an ad lol
13:26 I didn’t know the Norse Mythology had another war god next to Tyr named “TUuUUues”
Thank you Neil Degrass❤
1:13:24 “What happened I just woke up?”
Neil “Did I put you to sleep?”
“No you just blew my mind, I just came back to reality” 😂😂😂
So nice to see Paul Brisky again!
😂 no more PCP 💀 Steve-O 👨🏻💥 nah im just playing around my dude. But whats good. And glad that you have your channel 01/04/24 👍
Ego is thinking you can be something you're not but still expecting others to call you what you're not. He contradicted himself. Yes, the universe does not care about your feelings
And you want to speak to them"
It's so true
Some people are neither? I feel like a black, budist, 80 year old president of Nigeria. Race, religion, age, position in society and nationality. All less important then gender, yet, am I any of those things just cause I think/feel so? The MF is ridiculous. Smart people also have dumb ideas, ask Einstein.
No it's pretty dumb considering it's impossible to be human and not be either male or female.
there are literally intersex people born with both genitals and people being born with neither, born with XXY chromosomes, people who can produce both gametes, etc.etc. don't let your political beliefs or absolutist dogmas interfere with your ability to think freely, bro ;) @@jeremyterkelsen2518
Neils love for teaching and the guy’s love for trying to understand/learning is the most wholesome thing I have ever seen, it’s like when the teacher actually inspires the student. A beautiful sight to see.
Ive known of Steve-o for over 30 years super proud to see you put your life together. fantastic podcast keep it up. Tyson is a great guest but he is a little full of himself
30 years? Lol
yes way before Jackass,
