That has always been a prob with this design. I was looking at building a Ford 300 and i dont like the intake and exhaust by each other. It works but for performance i dont like it.
Did you sort out the whistle issue? Check the Protunerz throttle body. They have had issues with the IAC inlet making a similar sound. Protunerez has a fix for this issue. .
My L28 seems to like a lot of timing. I’m having an issue tuning it though. I’m using microsquirt, and it seems like it completely lacks torque below 5000rpms. It pulls like a train once it gets going though. I’d like to look at your maps when you get a tune you like.
Why not use a 2jz base map, ignition and injector events should be the same, l did emu black on my jz and I am starting to build a l28et on emu black for the 280z
Such a great video! Thank you for explaining all of this.
Your welcome 👍🏼
That is a Gorgeous car!!! I love the black and white!!!

Thanks I will message them about it. It does sound like it’s coming from that area.

I will make more videos on the tunning process.
Very nice!!!!

The fuel map for na is quite a bit different than boosted.
And ecu master doesn’t have any na 2j maps.
