As a younger man ( late 20's) I hoped to buy one of these, but the cost of the insurance put me off! I guess, at the time I had more important things to spend my money on. A friend at the time had a 3.0 litre model. It was pretty quick!
I did own, at different times, a Triumph TR4, a Triumph Dolomite Sprint and a Ford Sierra 2.8 4x4, which were all fun cars to drive.
I pootle around in a Honda Jazz these days 🤔
Insurance is always a bit of a factor. Sounds like you've had some great cars though. I had a Dolomite 1500HL and Nikki had a Honda Jazz a while back 🙂 We can always feature previous cars if you still have pictures.
