  • In this video. We are catching some spring bluegill. We catch way too many to put them all on video but we sure did have a great day on the water. Two of these bluegill were a Pretty Purple color. Lots of fun bream fishing. Hope you enjoy.

    I'm jealous of your fishing hole. I used to fish in a murky lake before and caught some of the most aggressive fighting bluegills ever, I can't get on that lake anymore. The fish act differently in those types of waters for some reason.

      Thank you. I have fished in some muddy water where I could see only 2" deep. I had to fish super slow but I caught some huge bluegill. I guess it all depends on the location and time of year.

    Hey I just saw the damage left in the little rock tornado and I hope and pray for your safety. I've been caught out on the water by fast moving storms in the past. Beat by the hail and whitecaps. A feller learns from those things. Be safe and keep YANKIN !!!

    • @FishYanker
      @FishYanker  Год назад +1

      Yes sir we had some close calls but we are okay. I have been caught in some downpours but have not been caught in the hell yet. hopefully I will not. That's one reason I don't fish the big lakes in my little boat. takes too long to get out of there. I tried to stick to 500 acre lakes or smaller. The rivers are not too bad because we have trees on both sides most of the way so you can get out of the wind a little bit but yeah I try not to get caught in these bad storms. Thank you Chris

    If your fingers don't touch when you put your hand around the fish, they are generally "keepers". By the way, since you are setting so close to the water, why don't you just gently drop the smaller fish back in the water. Just a suggestion.
