Hé Guys I admire you 4 this undertaking or Mission and I wish I could have joined you Guys !! It's a piece of Professional Mountaineering u people did and one Top of it all you found the Black Boxes that No one could find 4 over 30 years ?? I really admire you 4 this endeavour however what I can't understand is that the Bolivian Government was problematic but the Carton box is in your kitchen in the U.S.A. ?? Including the Magnetic Tape witch probably contains the Cockpit Voice Recordings ??? So why can't it B Analysed ?? Anyhow I am Fascinated with Airplane Crash Stories and as an ex Pilot I Thank you much 4 this one !! I wish you all the Best and may GOD Bless you two 4 doing this and also Blessings 4 the young woman who lost her Dad in the Accident !!! AMEN 😢😢😢
I worked for Eastern at the time. There is more to this story than we will ever know. It was weird from the day of the crash. All talk was hushed up. It has bothered me ever since. I worked on that plane about a week before . It was a new 727 I believe it was one of the last 727s made. I did see pictures of the crash site the tail was visible. So the voice recorder and flight data recorders I feel were removable. I seen one picture of the center fuselage that looked very recognizable. I would think human remains would be found. Nothing about this seems right with me.
They should of educated themselves about the recorders. typically, they were metal foil in a cartridge that pulls out for examination. it's hard to say if it actually survived the head on collision at those speeds..

Men scale Bolivian mountain and find remains of VHS tape of "I Spy".
