@@SerKGrimm wow, it's almost like if you watch the other videos, you can see them notice entanglements at a distance, without aid of a binocular. the sarcastic sneering was not needed, considering that, usually, when they notice an entangled seal, even at a distance, or among a group, their hands are visibly armed with nothing *but* a net,, camera's don't pick up details as clean as the eye can, plus, they do this for a living, and see lots of entanglements daily. gee, pretty sure they can notice abnormalities in a seal, 'cause that's their job.
I'd hope that at some point the fishermen would stop and be thankful for their harvest and not blame the seals if it doesn't always go their way. Poor Ghost. He must have had those straps and lines around him a long time to get this skinny. I hope he can feed again and put on some much needed weight. Great job by the fishermen to alert you to the second entangled seal that came up on the jetty. Well done all around. Thank you!
What an operation! It seems at least that the boat fishermen are becoming more aware of the seal dangers and want to contribute to the solution. That IS a good sign, as you said, Naude. The more they help by keeping their fishing materials under control, the easier your work becomes. Hopefully. I wish the rest of the world would learn the lessons of cooperation. Peace!
@@The_DC_Kid First of all, not true. The last video I watched was them rescuing a seal from an illegal gill net.
