    If they can void her win, it would only be fair that they prove when/how the machine broke and return every dollar to whomever played it after it broke.

      She's a single mom of 4. So it's likely she "wins" the lottery every day through government subsidies and welfare programs. So she's likely spending her cash allowance on casino gaming. Say it ain't so, racist. I dare ya.

      Lol they’ll win the lawsuit. Casinos have the Supreme Courts in their pockets. The RGN of the machine malfunctioned which is the Random Number Generator. All they have to prove is that the machines is equipped with RGN and they Supreme Court will side with the casino. This is not the first time this happened

  • @dmed312

    A few questions: 1. What is the "malfunction"? 2. Why was the Jackpot $43 million if the max payout is $6500, and 3. Why at the end is she sorta seeming okay with getting $6500 and not the $43 million?

    • @goldakumedzro6827
      @goldakumedzro6827 7 лет назад +5

      I think it goes to show she is not too greedy. If they are saying the max for a slot machine is $6500 and her win was a malfunction, she is only saying then give me the max. No matter what they want to say, she won. Since their machine decided to go crazy and it is not her fault, she does not have to give it all up.
      they should pay her and let the machine company solve their problem.

    • @deyvi5251
      @deyvi5251 2 года назад +2

      It’s called “RGN” Random number generator. They usually malfunction on slot machines. This will get to the Supreme Court and the casino will win. Happened before. She won $2.60 and a steak dinner.

    Anyone that plays at a casino knows that: 1. Any pays over a certain dollar amount (e.g. over $1000) are ALWAYS A HAND PAY OUT, it doesn’t print a ticket. 2. NO slot machine has winnings that large. As a matter of fact, this machines largest amount was $6500. Anyone with a brain knows it’s a slot malfunction.

  • @Tyiina
    @Tyiina 7 лет назад +10

    What they did not mention was what happened to the machine that would give the Casino a reason to say that the machine malfunctioned? For example, was the machine making a repetitive sound, or was it showing this message of winning over and over again? Also when did it happen and has it happened prior to Ms. Bookman's experience? Because all I am hearing is she won a huge jack pot and to get out of it, they made up a lie saying the machine malfunctioned. So wrong!

      Because slot machines don’t have jackpots that high at most maybe 100K but never 43 million that’s ridiculous. That’s how the casino knew it was an error. What I have a problem is the lady still hit the jackpot so the casino should’ve paid her the max pot for that machine’s jackpot just for the confusion confusion but instead they just told her to leave. She still won and they didn’t give her a dime. That’s where she’ll win in court

      no ... There's no point , she has nothing to help her case , the machine says "Max Payout 6,500$" " all malfunctions void Plays and pay " she didn't win shit it's in front of her face that she didn't win

    • @deyvi5251
      @deyvi5251 2 года назад

      It’s probably going to the Supreme Court and the casino will win. The machine is equipped with RGN which usually malfunctions. They just show proof and they win. Simple. If the jackpot was actually 43 million then that’s a different story. But the jackpot was $6500 and she didn’t even win the bonus lol she won $2.60. The number generator went crazy on her. I’d be pulling my hairs

    Well, I feel for her but I don't think the courts will allow her any money because there is proof that the machine malfunctioned, and it is written on the machine that the casino will not pay out if the machine malfunctions. The amount displayed on the screen is proof that the machine had a malfunction. The number "42,949,672" is a result of what's called an integer overflow. If you search "42,949,672" you'll find several Wikipedia pages on this. She could maybe sue for the lost money that she put into the machine if she could prove that the casino knew that this machine had a history of integer overflow errors. Maybe she could even sue the slot machine company or whoever wrote the program with faulty (or lazy) code. I personally think that the casino should have paid out the maximum listed on the machine, just as a nice gesture.

State Gaming Comm handles that. It's foolish to have thought that was valid. First thing I wld hv said was something is wrong with this machine. By law get nothing.

    Look at the screen that is clearly a malfunction. No slot machine is going to print a ticket for that amount. Most Jurisdiction chips in slot machines require a hand pay from a casino employee at 1200.00 She can cry all she wants she will get nothing but her free steak dinner.

  • @CindyDleon
    @CindyDleon 2 года назад

    The moment you see that the jackpot you think you won is higher than the maximum payout of the machine you would realize that it's a malfunction. Common sense lady, you can't get paid more than the maximum payout of the machine. It sucks but it's true
