@@pileofstuffbelieve it or not this is their first time sailing with him! I’ve been waiting for them to sail together since 2018 when he was our CD. He’s amazing!
Yeeeeeah, they definitely shrunk the cabins on the Carnival Excel-class ships, which we knew. The interiors are typically about 158 square feet compared to about 185 square feet on most older Carnival ships. Yow!!
Usually on the newer ships, the outlets in the room are interchangeable by the crew. So when the ship goes on over to Europe for that season, they will switch the outlets to the European plugs.
What a beautiful ship, and so festively decorated! I love the energy of your cruise director, he’s a real delight! I couldn’t believe when you said they had Osso Buco on the menu OMG! I would’ve paid the up charge in a heartbeat 💓 Looking forward to all the fun you have on this cruise, bon voyage! 🎉
She's beautiful 😍. Thanks guys for the tour. We'll be sailing The Jubilee in January 2024. If it's half this beautiful, she'll be so lovely 😍. Thanks again, safe travels and God Bless 🙌 ❤️ 🙏
Have a great cruise… We are driving back to Virginia Beach… We disembarked the MSC Meraviglia … We witnessed the rescue of 24 Cubans… The crew did a great job and we're definitely well-trained… Have a wonderful vacation🚢
Oh this was a fun video! I love to hear you mention eating with our special friends, Sara and Bob from Cuse Cruisers!! And he’ll need that Lee called you out specifically during that sell away! We really love that ship!❤
Hey guys we ported in Miami on Horizon on Dec 4. We saw Celebration in port. So close to ya"ll. We are going on Celebration in May. Keep the videos coming!
Great vlog. You always have a variety of content that looks like fun while being informative. I have been binging your blogs and am up to MSC Seashore.
Guys, so happy this series is up! I have a question about the 5th deck. We sail in May on that deck. Can you hear anything in the cabin from the main stage on deck 6? Pretty worried about that 🥴
We may try the Miami parking you do. Hey just a tip you may have thought about when in a stateroom with card activated lights, I bought a fake card with magnet on back from Amazon to use. Steward needs you to take out when gone though and magnet is for wall mount. I replaced the weak magnet with a stronger one.
Yesssss! Someone sent us one of those fake door cards with the little magnet on the back and we’ve forgotten to travel with it. We’ll have to try the in the future!! :D
We've seen "Amor Cubano" on a couple of ships, if memory serves, but it's definitely not fleetwide. Horizon and Celebration had it, and we've seen a reworked show called "Latin Nights" that's similar as well, which we saw on Sunshine.
On elation we couldn’t connect carnival wifi well until we left port. So we kept it off airplane mode until we left port. This was December 3rd - 8th 2022
I am a first time cruiser come May and do you have to pay for the fruit that is in there if you eat it or is it a complementary gift? Sorry but I am clueless to all this and wanted to know before we had to pay.
No worries! If they place a fruit basket in your cabin, it would be complimentary. It’s typically something that comes with building up certain loyalty levels with a cruise line.
Myself and hubby was on the celebration for new years cruise loved the ship but received a gift that I didn’t want the big C ugh!!! It was horrible and we drove back to Chicago due to the southwest incident I was a mess
Getting ready to go on the celebration! I had a question with Coffee options, what coffee creamer do they have available? Do they have flavor creamers and is the free coffee good?
I’m sure each cruise line has their own set of rules, but either magnets or command strips seem to be acceptable. Nothing that might damage the finish on the door/wall.
11:21 This item in the middle of the hallway seems like a hazard. If the area was crowded and I was walking around looking up at things, I would walk right into it.
It looks like you got right up close to the stage for the opening night show. Did you have any trouble getting close seats the last of the week? We were on the inaugural Celebration cruise, and we had to get to a show hours and hours early just to get seats where we could see. It was one of the worst parts of the cruise.
We put all our gear in the description of every video for the tech-curious, but our main cam is a good ol' Canon G7X Mark II, same as we've been using since 2017, ha ha... not too fancy these days!! :P ~Jay
Must be something with the lighting in there, hah... I'm sure they looked red to the naked eye, since I believe they were tying into the Cucina theme. Funny!! :P
The embarkation day shirt has become a staple, and I don't think it can be retired without great revolt, ha ha... I have two different shirts of the exact same pattern just in case one were to ever wear out!! :P ~Jay
I know you make the best of everything but... 🧐🤔 that bed looks so small for you two 😟, awfully tiny bathroom, so little space. Not even as a solo traveler for me 🙄😬
The beds felt to same as other Carnival ships, but they definitely shrunk the cabins on the Excel-class ships, which we knew. The interiors are typically about 158 square feet compared to about 185 square feet on most older Carnival ships. Yow!!
Hey Dee and Jay, I will be on the Carnival Celebration (Western Caribbean), in January and again in March (Eastern Caribbean). I generally have "Fixed Late Dinning" at 8:15 pm; however, I am considering getting on the "Fixed Early Dinning" and have put myself on the "Wait List" for fixed early dinning. QUESTION: If I am unsuccessful in getting into Fixed Early dinning can I just show up at "Any Time Dinning" and get in?? For dinner I generally eat the same entree every night (Salmon and vegetables). QUESTION²: understanding is that to alleviate crowding in the MDR's, I can go to Cocina Del Capitano and the Salmon will be on the menu nightly? Thank you in advance. Keep up the great work and outstanding videos. 👍😎🤸♂️🚴♂️⛹️♀️
No, if you have assigned dining, you’re requested to stick with your time rather than going to the flexible dining, as that option is filled by the folks who requested it and we’re confirmed into it. You might be able to talk to the maitre’d once onboard and request the swap to early if it doesn’t come through beforehand though. EDIT: Totally missed the second question, ha ha. Yes, the everyday menu with salmon should be available every single night at Cucina, from what we understand.
Getting called out by the cruise director on the mic randomly is a special level of recognition
After 50 cruises on Carnival I wonder how many times they've crossed paths with Lee?
@@pileofstuffbelieve it or not this is their first time sailing with him! I’ve been waiting for them to sail together since 2018 when he was our CD. He’s amazing!
I was excited myself. I had to rewind it, lol.
I truly enjoy the way you said "PAR-TAY"
Ahhhhhh! Thank you so much for such generous coverage
I’m so glad they were finally able to sail with you! Been waiting on this content since 2018! 😂😂😂
@leeyourcruisedirector hope to sail with you next year, on the celebration!
I’ll be on Carnival Celebration on June 23, 2024. I can’t wait.
What a ship!
Oh Carnivale was my first cruise!
Awesome called out by the cruise director. and having dinner with Sara And Bob Awesome.
I had forgotten what a super cruise director Lee is. He makes everything more fun!
I always look forward to Dee's "first steps" when getting on the cruise ❤
I’m gonna be on this ship in less than three weeks and it’s my very first cruise. I’m hoping for a good time.
I lost my mind when Lee shouted you out, hopefully we’ll get there eventually. Great vlog!
Love that the drummer gets a solo
Called out by the CD! Lol.
im so nervous about going on celebration due to its size but your videos make me feel a but clamer
I just have to say…you guys are living my dream life. I love watching your adventures. Keep up the GREAT work!!!
I see you, Parodeejay --- Best part of the video!
That cabin is TINY!

Bring the bus back that was on the Holiday
20:09 Perfect music as you show us your Italian dinner!
Ahh I was on the cruise before this one. So close
Love, love, LOVE Lee Mason! I’m so glad y’all finally were able to sail with him, and then get called out by him?!?! That was amazing!

That show looked awesome!! Looks like another fun cruise for you 2!😊
My husband and I watch you all the time and love how informative you guys are! We are going on our 2nd cruise in 12 days!!! I can't wait!
Lee is our favorite CD! Looking forward to your vlogs - celebrating my birthday on the Celebration this year!

This is truly a celebration. I love all the history!
I was on the other side of Deck 17 when he called you guys out. I just laughed.
That was So Cool getting a shout out !!!! Yay well done On getting recognition 😊
She's beautiful 😍. Thanks guys for the tour. We'll be sailing The Jubilee in January 2024. If it's half this beautiful, she'll be so lovely 😍. Thanks again, safe travels and God Bless 🙌 ❤️ 🙏
This look really nice I just lazy to drive down to Miami but I have Mardi grass near me , thank you for the video
My favorite cruisers! Iv been patiently waiting for your Celebration vlogs, my family and I will be cruising in July! 🫶🏽
Just for all of our friends over the pond, the cruise director sounds like every ride at a Thurstons mobile fair in England! Last ride fast ride 😂
I’ll be on Celebration in July. I’m curious to see the similarities and differences between her and MG
I see Explorer's decks again in April! Last time I was on that ship, she sailed from Sydney to Seattle. I'd do that journey again in an instant.
Great embarkation day onboard the Celebration!! Can't wait to cruise an XL-class ship in the future!!
Have a great cruise… We are driving back to Virginia Beach… We disembarked the MSC Meraviglia … We witnessed the rescue of 24 Cubans… The crew did a great job and we're definitely well-trained… Have a wonderful vacation🚢
Great video i am now a subscriber!!!! Thanks guys!
You guys always have so much fun.
Y’all left on Celebration the same day we left on Horizon. We waved at y’all as we sailed by. 😊
We can tell that 🎶Sweet Carolina 🎶 is Jay’s favorite song 😂
I have been waiting for your celebration tour!! I love watching you guys!
We sail February 26th and can’t wait 🛳❤️ and we took your advice and parking there also.😊
I go on my cruise coming up in 3 weeks...if I hear that song I'm going to think of u all and say bop bop bop just like Jay says it lol

is center stage in comparrision to the ATRUIM? On the smaller ships ?
16:38 Great shout out to ParoDeeJay at the sail away party. Very cool!!

Wow that Amor Cubano show was amazing is that on all Carnival ships or just Celebration?

Hi - are the doors capable of taking magnets? how about window/door clings?

That was a total surprise! Apparently, Lee watches our videos and was excited to meet us on the cruise!! :D
O M G Awesome!
Are there rules about how you hang the stuff on your doors? On Disney it’s just magnets.
I’m sure each cruise line has their own set of rules, but either magnets or command strips seem to be acceptable. Nothing that might damage the finish on the door/wall.

Not sure if the camera is picking up a different colour but those flags on the Christmas tree looked like they were Irish flags and not Italian!!
Must be something with the lighting in there, hah... I'm sure they looked red to the naked eye, since I believe they were tying into the Cucina theme. Funny!! :P
Love it! A Carnival Cruise is next after Norwegian Breakaway hopefully!❤️🛳️
I am looking fo Q’s cruisers that you mentioned and I can’t find them. Am I spelling it wrong?
We linked them in the video description! It's "Cuse Cruisers" (as in Syracuse). :D
Thank you
That is a tiny bathroom!
Jay, when are you going to retire that green plaid shirt? I know you have others. I've seen Dee buy them.

Y are y'all putting out old stuff...most put out within 2 3 days....y'all are way behind
When we cruise six or seven weeks in a row, it's hard for stuff not to get "old" quickly, ha ha... :P
"Y'all" should just watch and enjoy. 😉No need to be so critical or compare.
