Long live to Blur!!Is great to see at front stage young people that weren't eveb born on the 90s. Its good to see that their legacy continues in the next generations.
I've been a fan since the 90s 😊
Yes I've been a fan since there's no other way and I was blasting it in my first car. It was great to see a couple of the next day in a pizza place who much younger with the blur hats on saying they were at the front on the Sunday. While us old folks are sat down in the stands
I've been with them since Leisure. I've come a long way baby
I was born in 2010 and love them so much
This is heartwarming to see for an old git like me. I saw Blur for the first time in April 1991 at Sheffield Polytechnic on a wet Thursday night. £2.50 entrance ticket, Damon pissed as a rat, maybe 300 in the audience. But they were wild, loud and great. A week later they played There's No Other Way on Top Of The Pops. And now fast forward to see this in 2024... wow. Keep music live, kids!
What annoys me about Blur is that they had the talent to be the real next Beatles but they blew it on being quirky and too cool for school, leaving open the way for the moronic (i.e. Oasis) to become the pretenders to the crown of the new Beatles. Damon has a lot to answer for.
@zootsoot2006 Well, I'd agree up to a point. I always felt Blur were more Kinks than Beatles in their approach to songwriting. The period 1993-1997 was a thrilling time for British music, but the inevitable comedown saw Blur going more alt.rock to get away from the clichés of The Great Escape. I never had a problem with Oasis though, to me they were never serious about matching the sheer variety of The Beatles. It was heads down loud guitar rock n roll and tbh Noel could write a good tune or two.
GRAHAM SINGS ALONG GORGEOUSLY
1:56 Wearing a Oasis Shirt at a Blur concert is wild.
Kylo Ren: *TRAITOR!!!*
Oasis and Blur are great
Hermoso!
I❤ OASIS ✨🙌🏻🇬🇧🎸
Good pickup.
Graham Coxon, greatest guitarist of his generation without a doubt
@jamesrowden303 floor is open for the alternatives...
@jamesrowden303 fair play. I'm not even a blur fan as such, just when someone makes an arch comment I want to see what they had in mind. These lists are so subjective anyway, the best thing they do is open up a bit of dialogue and get you (me) looking at things I might not know, so thanks 😃
@jamesrowden303 It's actually a very decent list
Graham definitely deserves to be there but Noel sure as heck doesn’t and I love oasis. Songwriter, for sure, guitarist, absolutely not.
It’s all subjective but in terms of creative guitarists Jonny greenwood, Elliot smith, Jeff Buckley, Josh Homme, Stephen Malkmus, Adam jones, Jag Tanna, Coxon, Kevin shields, Corgan, Morello, Thurston Moore are in a world of their own. And there are so many more. I would put any of those over frusciante, Navarro or Jerry Cantrell who are too derivative of the blues and Hendrix.
And how does anyone overlook Greenwood?
@jamesrowden303good list but I would guess it’s not written by an American. I think any American publication would include Trey from Phish somewhere. Even if you hate phish it’s hard to deny their talent as musicians.
PLEASE make this film and To the End available in North America! 🙏🏼❤️ we so want to relive our Wembley weekend

What a time to be a blur fan 🫶❤️🔥
Since 4ever❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Nice to see bands do these proper recorded live performances. The production here is spot on. Shout out to the sound engineer.
Damon makes love with every word he sings.
Oh Jesus. 🙄
He always did
Oh what you done, BEETLEBUM!
I still can remember seeing the music video for the first time on MTV back in 1997^
He’s on he’s HE’S ON IT!
Im 14 years old. I first discovered Gorillaz, and after searching more, Blur, and wow, no jokes, this 2 bands have a special place in my heart, and are my favorites, i wanted so bad to go to the show, but okay... (and Im from Brasil) Thank you all very much, you changed my life (and i was so happy that these days i found one Gorillaz shirt and i buy it haha) ❤
same! i’m so obsessed with damon albarn, he’s such an incredible artist.
Belo gosto musical! Abraços de outra conterrânea! :)
i feel so lucky to have experienced this band live at Wembley! What a time it was!
Best band
Not so bad ya self 💚🕊️🌼
Better than Oasis, that's for sure😅
Would agree !
Blur have aged extremely well. Still sound full of breath.
I think that girl @ 1:55 wearing Oasis shirt made OASIS decide they should reunite!
We should Thank that girl!
Still vividly remember the instant impact when I first heard bettlebum back in the days, especially the great transformation from the britpop-isque "Great Escape" to the low-fi garage rock style on "Blur". One of the very few bands in britpop era that got out of it and being creative and even more successful.
Longtime fan from the US asking kindly to see To the End and the live Wembley concert in North America! 🙏 Please, Thanks & Love from California
I was there and 4 months later saw them again in Buenos Aires :) Greetings from Argentina!
I’m a fan of you Blur!!!!
Blur's best single.... (Along with For Tomorrow). Wasn't there for Wembley but was the Wolverhampton warm up a few weeks before (vid on my channel if interested). Thanks BLUR!!!
Ahw good memories of 1997 live in Madrid with the "orange" Blur album release . 1:56 that girl probably still was not born yet by then and there she is , with her goth look , in a Blur show with a Oasis tshirt ... sometimes i feel bad about how the new generations doesnt have good bands of their own age but watching her having so much fun reminds me that we can always have fun with the past bands , as i did with Beatles or Pink Floyd when i was a teen myself .
Yeah I had SO much fun. I wasn’t born yet no but I’d been waiting 10 years for that day to come and the wait was so worth it. Can’t believe I ended up in the video 😭
0:42 - Damon comes in at the the wrong time for the first line....Graham changes his playing, everything continues.
yeah Graham saved the day there.
@@TC2290-wh5cb He certainly did. Probably not for the first time either. Cheers, Andy from Britpop Reunion
Dude, nice catch! Totally missed it and wouldn't have noticed without this comment. What a save from Graham!
@@nachogarrofe358 I thought something was a little odd and I bet hardly anyone in the crowd noticed or remembered afterwards. Cheers Andy from Britpop Reunion.
The show is cut, this didn’t happen real 😅 saturday sound on sunday’s act, Damon cried on sunday singing this song, and saturday didnt wear glasses😅
Lol every time I see these videos from N1 it makes me tear up/cry because I miss it sooooo much. It was my first concert that I felt confident enough to stand up and sing along out loud and sway a bit. All past concerts i’ve gone to I have been wayyyyy too anxious to sing along or move about, so N1 of Blur at Wembley is so special to me. Hopefully next time I will get standing tickets and try and aim for barrier. 🥰❤️🤞🏻
songs that make u cry:
Classic!
Definitely one of the best bands ever!!!
Graham you are a genius how you fix Damon's early entry, don't even know how you did it....!!
I couldn't make it to the concert but will be definitely watching the movie... cheers!! from Vancouver BC
I am glad that you noticed that little slip from Damon at the begining too! Graham is a pro.
Damon entered perfectly fine! That's the way the song is, vocals doesn't start on 1
@@damienlott this is what makes the song interesting and these new folks thinking it was a mistake... boggles my mind which's listening to that song for more than a decade
@damienlott he didn't, Damon's vocals start on 1 (slide from 12th fret to 5th) and he entered on 4. Graham had to literally skip a beat right after Damon's early entrance
best band of all time ❤ beetlebum masterpiece.
do a new album pleeease
I was there! What a weekend that was!
Blur is the only band that makes me wish I wasn't in Sicily at the time
The greatest of all Blur songs 🤟
When I heard beetlebum in Lucca I literally cried. God bless them
Stunning. Moved me to tears.
Greatest concert I've ever witnessed 😍
GRACIAS TOTALES MOUNSTRUOS DEL BRIT ROCK !!!
Old, but gold
It really doesn't get much better than this......
Can’t get over how good this is.
Love the harmony’s of Graham and Dave on this song. They really make it superb ❤
THE ICONIC SMOKING LOLL omg can’t believe he still does that
Graham's solo is so raw and powerful
And the years just fall away…
Amazing.
That was a proper save by Graham in the intro.

Que alegría ver que la mayoria de las personas del concierto son tan jóvenes, y que sus padres fueron de la generación de blur...

Alex bassline here dances and jives to make all the space for the madness on top. He really is a top notch bassist.
Amazing!
Una de mis canciones favoritas lpm❤
Que hermoso, recorde cuando los vi en Lima - Perú en el 2013, me partió el corazón, son mis heroes! 😭😢

After all of the years, there is still NO ONE…who can rip cigs on stage like my boy the cheese man himself, Sir Alex James 💙💙💙
