As someone with synesthesia and on more than one occasion sees sound, the sentence “I wanna fill this music in my mouth” is actually a real mood. I also fill like you have the kind of sense of humor that you could wear earrings that spell out “Booba” (and the OO’s have nips). People who don’t like other people having nose rings forget that nose rings have been considered high fashion and a symbol of power for thousands of years by the majority of cultures on earth.
I think people who don’t like nose rings forget they don’t have to have them. I’m not big on them but that means I won’t get one. It doesn’t make me entitled to comment on how they look on other people (which is usually perfectly fine tbh). I don’t understand why people think content creators should care about their inane thoughts.
Thank you for continuing to offer us silly, positive, and smiling content in light of the terrible things these people say. I really enjoy your videos because you are amazing at harp and at making content. Thank you for providing inspiration and entertainment so genuine feeling for as long as you will.
It’s cool hearing about other people’s experiences of bad advice at music college. I feel like I get a fair amount of suggestions that directly contradict my intentions with my music, and it’s cool to hear about other people finding some success without doing everything they were told.
Just thank you for sharing your art. The more light you put into the world, the more the bad stuff tries to get you down. The only way it would not happen is if you were not effective in spreading the good stuff. It becomes a bizarre yard stick. The more BS sent your way = the more awesome you are! Good luck on your continued recovery :)

Horror movies will forever try and fail to recreate the complete disassociating terror of seeing a Tooth Tunes commercial for the first time as a child. The shitposting-to-cool sounds ratio was peak with this, such a great comeback video and @cassievines was such a cool guest and artist! I think it's pretty cool how the collaborations often come back to a duet between harp and voice but end up sounding nothing like what would be expected of that pairing in a classical music context.
"I haven't gotten any 'I want to feel this music in my mouth' comments yet." "You will." I love this exchange. Classic video, much appreciated. Also took me a second to realize who Vines was from that Birthday Party thing. I actually really enjoy that, so it was a nice surprise to realize that yes, I actually do know the artist a little. Granted, you guys shared the link on one of those live streams a few months back, BUT I STILL COUNT THAT.
Thank you for being awesome, Emily. Your videos inspire me to keep working on my own arts and try new things. Amazing video, it must be hard to get unsolicited hate like this on the daily, but I do love how you have consistently taken this aspect of internet fame and turned it into something creative and fun, Vines and you have such a great comedic and creative chemistry, this was a gas to watch, and probably will become a comfort video to return to later.
This was great! I had literally googled best vocal processors (because I'm a terrible singer) to maybe fill in some backup harmony space. I literally had a TC-Helicon VoiceLive 3 on my screen when I started watching the video on my other monitor. You both were having fun but it actually helped me see what it can do and I will probably get one. I love the collab and to everyone who reads this, never stop creating! Thanks!
I really agree with the sentiment of not listening to "the right way" and deciding to fuck around and find out. It's awesome when you find a way yo add your own art to something completely out of your realm
I just want to start off by saying you both rock! With that said I'm probably going to start writing very ridiculous rude things just so you have enough to do this again. I really am keeping my fingers crossed for a part 2 where y'all respond like this!
This seemed like a big ol ad for ya girl's singing and style and I absolutely dig it. Who better to explain how great a person's ability is than someone who knows them well?
This video is yet another example of your creative skills, and I don't think it's debatable that, regardless of the two beautiful elephants in the room, your channel would be a go-to space for pedal demos and more no matter what you looked like
Most of those comments aren't mean spirited, they're just trying to grab your attention, while saying half-truths/half-humorous (to them) things, and as a frequent RUclips commenter, most of my comments are to other commenters, not so much the uploader, because I seldom expect the uploader to pay attention to my comment. Nice job making something entertaining. First video I've seen from your channel, and I like people that turn something negative into something funny & creative, instead of running away, or worse, complaining. The world is ugly, and that's why we make art about it in the first place. Respect.
2:12 did something to me emotionally. It's actually so brilliant on an artistic level to use real hate comments as lyrics for a song. The melancholy chords in particular emphasized how sad the existence of these comments actually is. They do nothing but harm in the world and yet they are something so conventional. Vines captured the tragedy of this so perfectly with her performance. Beautiful video and beautiful music - from both of you! Also, that wah-wah type of effect at 4:27 went super hard. Going to borrow that one haha
Any comments targeting your looks are dumb, seems to me that some people just cannot stand someone else's success, because it just shows how bitter and frustrated they are with their own self. Thank you for bringing music to the world. (And the extensive pedal collection)
I love that you just do what you like, don't let the haters spoil that for you. I love to watch your videos as inspiration to be more open-minded. Even if I don't love some of the effects that you freak out over, it's always interesting to see what is possible. Brilliant collab as well, thanks to both of you!

This kinda ethereal voice sounds really interesting. Know a couple of artists or music that does that and its always fun
I'm always amazed by how positive, honest, and thoughtful even your "using rude comments as lyrics for fun haha" videos are! I appreciate that you create beauty and put good out into the world!
Dude the second half of the video is so fkn inspiring as an artist this is beautiful 🥹
It was the reading the comments through the vocodoer that sent me 😂 Really cool track you guys put out! will be listening to it on repeat!!
First Emily, it really makes me sad how much crap you have to deal with.
I love how you manage to get something nice out of it.
I truly hope it doesn't take a too heavy toll on you.
Much love from France. ❤
@@return2sender791how irony pilled do you have to be to find someone’s sincerity as bad as cruel and objectifying sexist abuse?
So I was coming here to comment that someone finally found the right thing to say on this topic, but now I'm doubting myself after reply 1
Oh my. How can people be so crude?
Great content, i get kind of imogen heap vibes from your friend!
Anyways, i think the both of you are super talented, and i hope creeps won't ever dissuade you from doing what you love!
I hope one day i can have the confidence to publish content of my own!
🌟💯🌟
"I haven't gotten any 'I want to feel this music in my mouth' comments yet."
"You will."
I love this exchange. Classic video, much appreciated. Also took me a second to realize who Vines was from that Birthday Party thing. I actually really enjoy that, so it was a nice surprise to realize that yes, I actually do know the artist a little. Granted, you guys shared the link on one of those live streams a few months back, BUT I STILL COUNT THAT.
it's giving me heavy imogen vibes.
Absolutely. Finally, I agree and love it
I totally kept thinking that Vines would start singing hide and seek for some reason
Thank you for being awesome, Emily. Your videos inspire me to keep working on my own arts and try new things. It takes a lot to put yourself out there for the world to see in hopes someone else will find happiness from your talent. Never let the weirdos discourage you from sharing. Some of us honestly appreciate you. ❤
If somebody said "I jar of Planters roasted to your videos" I would quit the internet forever.
No one wants to admit where they know Goth Egg from
👍👍
I had to Google who goth egg was.
Y'all are beyond down bad tremendously.😂
4:25 scratched every corner of my brain, thank you for this!!!
@2:57 - I started crying. I’m genuinely sad for the bullshit.
amazingly, you take something people are trying to be mean or hurtful with, or a perve, and you turn it in to something funny and awesome. I don't recall how I found your channel but it's amazing what you do with sounds and music and all sorts of stuff thats with the audio waves. It's amazing and maybe one day I'll understand what an octave is and what a c# sounds like.
The singing at 4:27 moved me. I am hoping that somewhere there is a full length version we can enjoy.
Absolutely hilarious and brilliant as usual

Nailed it!
I'm lmaoing so hard right now, this just makes all the comments so funny.
I think most of these people aren't very happy with their lives and you just happened be on their sight when they needed to vent out. I might not be the happiest person myself, but I've learned a long time ago that trying to make other people miserable doesn't make me any happier either.
I like your videos and personality, just keep being you and do your thing.
I think she's pretty happy about the weird comments since it gives her content.
Normally I keep these sorts of things to myself butt I really liked your video!
😂 thanks so much!
i really love that she added pedals to her vocal setup in this. i know nothing about music, but i love emily's pedals and her excitement always gets to me, its infectious and awesome!
How to trick my brain into listening to an interview between musicians. Perfection. (Seriously, old dawg, new trick.)
Em, I love how when you put your beautiful music out there and get those weird, dumb comments it doesn't crush you but makes you stronger. Keep doing what you're doing, the creeps will eventually slither off under a new rock.
Your weird sense of humor and general awkwardness is why I love your videos. You be you, toung lady.
Well that generalized pigeonholing wasn't much better than the disturbing posts they just put to music, was it?
@@tedl7538lol yeah honestly, like was that supposed to be a compliment? 😂
@@tedl7538 Dude, she's not gonna date you. Hell, she doesn't even know who you are. So, your attempt at being chivalrous and coming to the damsel's defense will get you nowhere. Besides, if what I wrote offends you, you are a very weak and timid creature, and should probably refrain from reading online comments in order to secure your emotional safety.
@@TyroneCLove Like, I don't know. Like, I guess it could be, like, you know, a kind of, like, comment. Like, she does have a sense of, like, humor.
She's not gonna date you. She doesn't know who you are. She's a grown woman and not the damsel in distress in your fantasies.
this video was wonderful. that bit about breaking out of the "right way" to do things and just doing what you like...that's an actual life lesson. and the music tied the mood perfectly. thank you ♥
I feel some Sigur Rós vibes with the Vines’s tones. Very cool.
I fucking LOVE musicians.. y'all are so creative and you listen well, y'all seem to get (understand) something etheral 💖Also that was pretty healing, as someone who struggle to not being phased by the opinions of others about myself.. this was soothing. thank you.
The vocalist is Cassie Vines, she's pretty cool, if y'all haven't heard of her, check her stuff out
This makes my heart sing hearing just the vocalist and the haunting melancholy melodies and just having fun with all the comments. Yall work perfectly, and all I crave is more
here for the weird, Em...
lets GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
this totally made my week SO MUCH BETTER!!!!
💖💖💖
Now THIS is epic

🎉AWWW YISSSS!🎉
I would love to see a full album of this. The first few seconds had me really liking the ambient feel of this. Always appreciate your videos.
I play my microkorg with a Roland space echo
Your creativity has been inspiring and you’ve given me ideas on things to try with music I never thought to try before. thanks for doing what you do and all the creeps and weirdos can go to hell!
This is beautiful 0:42
this is probably the best way you could have handled this, kudos for being a content genius plus an amazing artist
I wanna hear this music in my mouth... I guess?
Amazing video, it must be hard to get unsolicited hate like this on the daily, but I do love how you have consistently taken this aspect of internet fame and turned it into something creative and fun, Vines and you have such a great comedic and creative chemistry, this was a gas to watch, and probably will become a comfort video to return to later.
I didnt realize how many incel people talks about your chest. Jesus i dont blame you for being uncomfortable lol.
Thanks!
What is the matter with people?
I really agree with the sentiment of not listening to "the right way" and deciding to fuck around and find out. It's awesome when you find a way yo add your own art to something completely out of your realm
Definitely get tattoos.
😂
