They are run more on common interest indeed, tho that also mean that when shits get bad, everyone will run for their lives abandonning the ship (just like he was ready to abandon two of them on Amazon Lily), it's a double-edged sword basically, when everything's well, lot of people will join, but when things turn to shit, most will leave
At least even "evil" crew like BM or Kaido worked better in that matter, BM are a family that are loyal either to her or the family in general while Kaido's officers and commanders are actually loyal to Kaido (at the opposite of the fodder that fear him, tho they still 100% trust his efficiency in battle and will not surrender while he is still standing)
@@guifire9747 To be fair about Blackbeard’s decision on Amazon Lily, he had a very good point. He had no way of knowing that Boa would actually revert his crew and wouldn’t just kill them all. Hell, I figured that was exactly what Boa was going to do. She had no reason to hold faith with the Blackbeard Pirates, or the Marines. Not after they attacked her people like that.

Don't get me wrong, i'm not saying it was a bad decision, it was the pragmatic things to do, must someone like Kid, Luffy or Law would have risked their life for their crew without thinking twice and that's what the reverse apply too with their crew following them to hell if needed, if BB is in a bad spot, his crew won't stick their neck for him
Buggy does a great thing putting bounties to the marines for the world to see how the marines deal with civilians.

7:30 Big Mom is 68 yo and has 74 kids, many of which are born in batches. For instance, Katakuri is 1 member of triplets. I think there are 8 sets of twins, 4 sets of triplets, and 1 set made of 10 kids born at once.
Also if you ignore the twins triplets and more and just straight multiply 9 months by 74 you woukd get a triple 6. Which doesnt really matter but its a cool detail.

Whoever is willing to combine with her can have their strength, knowledge, and abilities added to hers and it supposedly has no limit as long as they choose to do it of their own free will. Her and her 9 siblings are shown combining towards the end of whole cake island arc.
She has 85 children not 74 46 sons and 39 daughters and there r 22 single births, 11 sets of twins, 6 sets of triplets, 2 sets of quadruplets, 1 set of quintuplets and 1 set of decuplets.

Kaido is definetly fear and survival of the fittest, which showed itself in swamp when Kaido said; this is a perfect oppurtunity for promotions.
Blackbeards feels much less like fear based and more of a fuck around and find out type of crew.
Big Mom feels like a Sugar Mommy relationship, give her some of your soul and you get the goodies.
Shanks feels more of a trust based crew and Blackbeard pirates are more based on their interest
King I feel is the only exception when it comes to Kaido, he seems to actually care about him

You say Marco leading the grudge war against Blackbeard was a bad idea, but blackbeard's crew was already attacking and destroying whitebeard's territory is why they went after them.
So how was it a bad idea to defend yourselves while under attack?
It's 50/50, basically it wasn't a bad idea per se, he still had a powerful crew against only 10 people and was under attack so he went on defense, then again, it wasn't the best idea neither, not only did he not ask for the Fishman from help (and they are incredible on naval battle) but if he had swallowed his pride and accepted Shanks' offer, Shanks would have extended his protection to all of WB's territories in exchange of WB's power fleet, which BB would have not dared to fight at that point, that would have been the best idea imo

usopp is a sniper, thats the strongest class in every meta by default. Oda cant give him more abilities or he end up pretty fast stronger than luffy and zoro
The way oda wrote his character in wanting to be sniper like his father he’s not really meant to get bunch of power ups and his importance within the crew and the story itself he doesn’t need to get bunch of power ups. His character and his cowardice is meant to be like the comedic relief within the story so that it’s not always super serious within the crew and story. Though in last one piece that came out he able to tap into the same powerful observation haki that his father has and is known for and the movie itself isn’t canon but the haki abilities that shanks and his crew demonstrated are canon so more then likely at some point during the upcoming elbaf ark ussop will unlock the same advanced observation haki his father has and to be fair ussop is much stronger now post time skip then he was before the time skip. Being a sniper in the world of one piece doesn’t really give a lot opportunities for sniper characters to get bunch flashy power ups unless they eat devil fruit like the sniper on blackbeards crew who ate teleportation devil fruit. So yea I wouldn’t get to hung up about ussop not getting all sorts of flashy power ups it’s just not something his character or the actual story needs him to have him when you view everything from a logic point of view when taking into account his character and the over all one piece story.

This is just my honest opinion, but I think BB and the others stole DF's by... well, umm eating a person's heart. It's gruesome. My main belief in this is how Big Mom got her DF power.

Oh yea, Doflamingo could've been emperor level if he was physically strong enough to take on an emperor but (fortunately for Luffy) he didn't excel at haki or have the durability to even be able to fight a commander on a yonko crew.

He had the entire island on lock with a 2nd in command revolutionary and an admiral who had to make a bet on Luffy, so let's say Luffy didn't have plot armor. It kinda puts things into perspective when Kaido's crew fears their captain less than Big Mom's crew does her. Kaido's crew even talks back to him sometimes, while every Big Mom pirate is scared of BM beyond anything else.
I mean, not only is Big Mom their captain, she's also their actual mom. Imagine she sends a kid out on a mission and they don't accomplish it, and THEIR MOM just looks, calls them a disappointing failure and takes part of their life force away. I would shrivel and die.

For Kaido It depends the ranks basically, being an officer in his crew is a very good position, being a simple soldier is very bad, Kaido respect his officers for their strenght and they are in return very loyal to him (he seem to have a special soft spot for King being his oldest ally, but also for Jack, Ulti and i assume PageOne because he raised them since they were kids ) the rank and file are just fodder to him tho, he would kill them without any reason
Doffy needs to join cross guild so that they aren’t weaklings because they only have mihawk and crocodile
I mean the commanders are all former warlords that went to impel down and doffy is also a former warlord in impel down he asked crocodile to partner up with him and his personality is just a perfect fit

Cross Guild seem to have a number's advantage. There are LOADS of people in that crew and they can use it to outnumber their enemies.
Ehh, numbers advantage isn't really a thing in One Piece. Remember how Hordy had 100k fishmen ready to fight a sum total of 10 people (straw hats+Jimbei) and 50k of them didn't even have the chance to throw a punch due to Luffy's conquerors haki?

With that said he has mr3, mr1, alvida, the lion dude, the monocycle dude, the impel down prisoners (Buggy has levels 1 to 5 prisoners all over his crew), maybe Perona, maybe Mihawk's swordsman baboons, maybe the rest of baroque works etc.. (those are not strong but are characters that Oda probably wont make easily knocked out by conquerors)
@@marceloasensiofilho3833 tbf 1 to 5 prisonner are people with less than a 100M bounties, they are fodder in the NW when you realized that people like Bellamy or Caribou would be locked up in level 6 if captured, Buggy admitted that his strongest subordinate where Hajrudin and the giants, who are pretty strong but nothing incredible, a single Tobi-Roppo-level fighter or just a logia would wash all of Buggy's fodder by himself

I’ve always wondered how Blackbeard formed his crew (burgess, doc q,lafite, and van augur) because not only do they seem incredibly loyal and devoted to Blackbeard but they seem as though they’ve all known each other for a long time so I doubt he met and recruited them immediately after he left the white beard pirates and he joined whitebeard b4 some or maybe even all of them were born so I doubt he met them b4 joining. So did Blackbeard form his own crew while he was a member of another crew and just tell them to wait till he’s ready to lead them or something?

My guess will be that more warlords will join them for different reasons like boa (for island protection) and doffy (cause it's fun)
Doffy is more likely to join Cross Guild than the Strawhats. He’s not considered one anymore, but he still considers himself a Celestial Dragon, and he’s not going to let go of the fear and hatred he has of the D family.
Luffy hates Doflamingo cause of his manipulative nature and trying to annihilate a kingdom (like how he hates crocodile)
And yet Luffy worked with Crocodile just fine. Honestly Kaido’s crew having a bunch of Devil Fruit users and high numbers is kinda useless since all it takes is one skilled Conquerors Haki user to take them all out. And while rare all meaningful enemies have at least 1 among their number.

In a way, both Luffy and Blackbeards crew embody the 2 different sides of a pirates life.
Luffy’s crew being made up mostly of friends and allies that while not the most professional of pirates, are a merry band. One of the most appealing factors of a pirates life is freedom, which Luffy’s crew represents
Meanwhile Blackbeards crew represents the cruel potential for betrayal that comes with being a pirate, having a crew of sadistic sailors who have betrayed their captains and factions in service to Blackbeard who himself has betrayed many terrifying foes. Pirates in real life were known to throw honor and respect out the window as they felt they were not bound by any law and thus were free to pillage and steal as they liked.

He meant in numbers of people, i think he mentionned WB fleet being 2000 members strong (which is fair, that would make an average of 40+ crewmembers by crew), while Luffy have 5000 (the Happou navy and Yonta Maria fleet being most of them since both were already fleet of their own before joining Luffy)
