They seldom look perfect right out of the box. It was so fun watching you spray them down and put roots in them and change the part around, etc. You helped me get over my fear of people knowing I was wearing a wig and now I wear them around people who know me and it's so much fun! @@BethsBestHair You're just the best!! I've learned from you!! Wig cutting is different from cutting hair . We studied wigs in Cosmetology but never had a lot of experience with wigs until I experienced pretty significant hair thinning. My Mother wore wigs and hairpieces back in the seventies cause her hair was naturally fine and not real thick. She liked teased big hair back in those days and wigs gave her that!

@@BethsBestHair ❤️we just got 12” of snow. But the days are getting longer, it was sunny today (cold) but I can’t complain. I cut my hours it was 21 and now 15/week. I’ll miss that money but it’s good to be home. Miss my doggie. Stay warm as well.

I like this style in that color on you. Yes. It looks better with the bangs cut and worked with. Last night I decided the first Dylan I got, and had restyled, had bangs that kept getting in my eyes. So, I decided I'd take a very small section from where the part is, and trimmed it to the bottom of my nose. Then I took a small section from that, and trimmed it to the middle of my eyes. Then a small section from that and cut it to my eyebrows. It turned out that gave it a natural lift. And will keep it from getting in my eyes. I'm not one for straight bangs. So, this is just perfect for me on this one. Just a nice bang to the side.

Thank you, I really love her styles! The fibers on this style are the regular Kanekalon fibers, very soft and silky, I love the feel of it and have no issues whatsoever! 💖😊👍

Hi Beth…The Jaclyn wigs and colors are gorgeous on you! I love watching you come up with so many different styles. Thank you for the impromptu tutorial on cutting bangs. I like the side swept bangs. They frame your face nicely. I have an issue with wigs creeping up at the nape. I always wear a velour wig grip, but it doesn’t seem to make a difference. Do you think a silicone grip would work better?

I love her wigs and colors and I'm always happy to offer styling inspiration with our wigs! 💖 I wear the wig grip cap but I first spray Got2B Freeze Spray around my head and especially at the back where I secure the grip so that the grip itself doesn't move. Then I don't have any issues at all with the wig riding up. You may try that if it's actually your grip that is moving and causing the wig to ride up. Otherwise. when I used to do a small ponytail, I would also add a couple bobbypins at the nape of the wig and pin it under the grip and into my bio hair and over the wig through the hair (if that makes sense). Hope that will help dear! 💛😊👍

No, this wig is NOT smaller than average. Jaclyn's wigs run large so you can absolutely wear it. It's the Couture wigs from Paula Young that are 100% hand-tied that run petite. Those, I do not think you could wear comfortably.

I love Heidi too, it's really beautiful! Honestly, Heidi is more of a straight blow-out look type of wig. This one has more curl and has a different cut. I think Encore may be a better choice that's more similar to the Heidi style. 💛💛💛

I have a wig I love, but it had curtain bangs, which means center part, and I'm not a center parting gal. I cut the bangs...too short!! Plus, they're uneven as all get out. The good thing is it is an Amazon wig. The bad thing is, I really liked that wig.

Ohhh no, I think we've all done that with wigs! You can try to fix it by actually taking more hair and adding to the bangs, cut the new ones longer and the shorter ones underneath that you previously cut, take a thinning shears to them so they just blend in in the background. How do you know if the wig can have heat on them. I can't remember if there is info in the boxes or not? I bought one of those really curly ones and it is so much hair. Can you show one of the really curly ones and what to do with it. Thank you. I luv the bangs.
Hi Donna! When you purchase the wig through the catalog or online, it will state if it’s heat safe. In Paula Young it’s called VersaFiber, those are their heat friendly styles. There’s only a few, most of their wigs are regular synthetic. May I suggest that you visit the Paula Young fan page on Facebook and the ladies should be able to help you out with styling ideas for curly ones! 💛🤗👍

In the catalog, Bridgette has bangs and looks quite a bit straighter as well as diff. Color.

I loved it before, but it really looks cute afterwards! If you pull the bangs down next time and then slide them all the way over to the side that you want them to go, they will sweep over much more easily…. But they do look great.

Hi Beth, a few questions…
1. I’d like to see you style/fix a wig without bangs of any sort, lots of us wear them like that too.
2. Are the JS fibres different to the PY fibres, they feel silkier than my PY wigs? Much softer too.
3. Does she generally have considerably less density and less permatease than PY wigs?
I saw a post a while back, you all had the ‘flu, hope you’re ok now.

The Jaclyn fibers are regular kanekalon fibers and they feel very nice and silky. I don’t know if they’re different or if it’s just my perspective! 🤗
It depends on the style. Some have a lot of permatease like Leading Lady while others are lower density like Kris. I have found that her caps run slightly larger than regular PY caps, in my experience!

Hey Beth, have you ever started messing with a new wig and had to just put it aside because it wouldn't behave?
Yes, that has happened to me but not with PY, it’s happened with other expensive name brand wigs. Mostly it’s been the color I chose is bugging me so then I just have trouble liking the style. It’s rare for me but it does happen. 💛🤗💛

I don’t actually think I’ve ever seen Jacquelyn with this really long front so I don’t know why they called this one the Jacquelyn. There are other ones that you havethat look more like Jacquelyn Smith.
This is supposed to be created after her iconic 70s hairstyle from Charlie’s Angels. However, in my opinion, they should have made it with a lace front and it would have been amazing! The curl pattern of the soft waves is so pretty! 💛💛💛
