Slovan fan here, well explained, good job :) continue with good work 👏
I’m a dac
I guess DAC are most Hungarians 2nd team, interesting rivalry.
Good video, thanks for sharing.
Great video. Of course one have heard about both teams but didn't know about this rivalry and the history behind it. Thanks!
Against modern football! 100% anti RB Leipzig, Salzburg and Hammarby.
what did hammarby do?
Long time ago Hammarby was a pretty respectable "working class" club but later when they were at the steep of the ruin they went on and sold their soul like many other clubs have done. It's a short explanation but you can google like Hammarby, AEG, Zlatan for more context. I don't support any club in Sweden so everyone can have their own opinion. I'm just explaining a bit why they are considered a team in the "modern-football-family".
@@skr4419 nothing idk what hes on about not a billionair owner or company rulling Hammarby and this comes from a person who hates Hammarby
Hammarby is a soulless husk.
Why Hammarby?
Incredible job from you like always showing the true atmosphere!
Unglaublich gutes Video mal wieder 👍🏻.
Yes Sepsi OSK in Romania and TSC in Serbia is the same story than DAC in Slovakia.
@@petergauss4135Also partially CFR Cluj
14:20 can somebody tell me which player was offside? Cause from my PoV this was a good ONside goal.
Interesting fixture. Thanks for this. Legia Warszawa - Lech Poznan when?
Excellent video as always 👏 Really enjoyed hearing about the two clubs and the history behind the rivalry!
Thanks mate, I’m happy you enjoyed it!
You convey very interesting story from both teams 👍 nagyon szépen köszönöm! 👏
Thank you for explaining, it’s interesting and I appreciate it 🙏
I also agree it’s safer to educate rather than avoid the subject. This could help some of your viewers in the future if they ever end up at a match featuring one of these teams.
You should 100% come to Blåvitt against GAIS in the cup beacause IFK and GAIS doesnt play against each other that much and this will be the first derby in many years
I’ll be there, don’t worry 🔥
Will you come to Djurgårdens home game in the round of 16 in the ECL? The biggest game in our history and the atmosphere will be mad
I am a Hungarian living in Australia & have visited Hungary & Slovakia multiple times & have made many friends on both sides of the border during my visits. Yes, Slovakia was a part of Hungary until after WW1. Politics aside, we're in the 21st century now. Slovakia would of eventually got their independence from Hungary anyway & the borders would be slightly different to the current one through diplomacy. The hatred between the 2 countries is nowhere near to what it used to be compared to Hungary & Romania, but that's a different story.

A few months ago when Ferencváros played againts slovan, the slovan ultras told the fradi (Ferencváros) ultras to fight them before the match in Somorja (a city in slovakia) so the hungarian ultras went there and were waiting for the slovaks but they were too afraid to come.
They didn't come.
Because there is no city called Somorja, there is only city called Samorin.
This is only, and proper name, it always was,and always will be,forever.
Anything else, like somorja,or similar is in tatar,or avar language, language of wild, degenerated nations.
@@bejo7323 So You think humanity will be stupid forever? The Earth need only one language and one God. In the far future, there will be no Slovakia or Hungary, but Europe as a Nation, and english speaking peoples. Nobody will remember to Slovakia or Hungary. Nations? Languages? Skin colors? If you hate others because of that, you are just a racist with weak and evil heart.
@bejo7323 Stick to trainspotting, pal. History is not your strength.
@@bejo7323 Somorja is Somorja. Degenerated nations... who are you??? You have no history, crap of czechs!
It is not a good place to fight, there is a lot of Dac fans and minority of Slovan fans, it would grow into a big battle with possible police introduction.
lets face it. DAC is used as a national "weapon" of hungarians who still live in the past (as the russians and serbians). its too nationalistic, (among other things) hungarian anthem is being played in stadium in slovak league which its not quite ok. but on the other way, the rivarly is one of the few left for Slovan - DAC and Spartak Trnava are only two atractive clubs for Slovan supporters in our shitty league.

Yes we were one country, but Hungarians wanted to "hungarize" us in the late 19th century, they wanted us to speak Hungarian instead of mother language (Slovak, and some minorities Rusyn and German) also one Norwegian (Björnson) fought for Slovak rights, so that are reasons why most people don't like Hungary. Also Hungarian prime minister wearing scarf with Great Hungary is what don't do good to improve relations.
and in the 20 century Slovakia (Czechslovakia) wanted to slovakize us. My surname is originally Kiss, they changed it in the birth certificate to Kišš. When I had the chance immediately i changed it back to Kiss.
You could have been a decent nation if we had succeeded with “hungarization” but jokes aside we shared a country for a 1000 years I don’t think it was that bad for you apart from that few odd years in the late 1800’s.
@@norfeus In Hungarian, Kiss doesn't really mean anything. You can be called Kis and if they wanted to slovakize you, you would be called Malý. Just like the former Dac player.
@@majstter7420 xdddd when did u dream ur profile picture?
