I'm generally not a fan of movies or dramas which is a propaganda tool for any government but I'm watching The Rebel to support ZYL's work because I genuinely love his ability to engage audience with the characters he plays. Whether he's acting or singing his expressions make me emotional. Jia you, Long Long.

I could hear him talk for hours. I love how his words show his passion for Lin Nansheng, how he cared to understand him and give us his best.
4:26 stronger impact... they really made it... that scene is heartbreaking (I cried so much with The Rebel, but that part was particularly sad)

He portray the role Lin Nansheng so well. And it is true that he didn't need any intentional design for this role. It made the role being so smooth and gradually came into the audience's heart deeply. The detail of the cake Lin Nansheng ate at his friend's grave is so specail. I didn't understand all of the 2-layer meaning of it until I watched his interview. A great drama and a great role. it is so good that he found such an interesting role and he did it so well. No wonder the drama reach a high rating level. Thanks a lot for your subtittle.
