WOW!! My words are inadequate to describe the energy of gratitude that I just fell into, Mark...throw in that incredible breathwork centering you included that allowed me to slip my skin...add to that the energy of appreciation that I have for you and your video and I slip into beautiful, sweet Bliss. It's been a couple of years, so thank you greatly for the reminder that it's always there waiting for me!! Tears of Joy streaming down my face at this experience!! Awe thank you so much. It means so much to the world around us to honor our creative energies. Have fun my friend. . I have a Shibori tutorial coming out soon and then time for the honey comb😁
Been on a tie dye kick lately and just trying to learn new techniques. I found your yt channel and you're so nice and thorough! I didn't feel intimidated at all. And I love how you set your intentions while creating this. Beautiful 💜
Thank you sister, and I am but a reflection. 🙏 Thank you so much for being a part of this amazing adventure and thank you for honoring your creativity! Really happy we found each other🙏
This is my first time watching one of your videos. I just want to thank you for taking the time in the beginning to give thanks, to bless all of us who you don’t even know, share your love of life and spirit and creativity as well as lead that wonderful Breathwork exercise! I’m a nurse about to start my workday so that was really nice and centering. I plan of trying the mandala pattern as soon as I can carve out some time where I don’t have to rush. Thank you again!
Oh my, this comment fills my heart and brings tears to my eyes with gratitude. This is my calling this lifetime and I appreciate your validation of my path. Thank you so much for taking the time to commune with me. And thank you for honoring yourself with the breathwork
Thank you so much for the long-form tutorials! Seeing the details of the folding and tying techniques are incredibly helpful. You are also quite the inspiration to up my tie dying game. You do beautiful work. Happy holidays!
You have a great vibe! You are very in tune with yourself. So, recently, a friend of mine and myself have taken on a huge task. We are tie dying 100 t-shirts for our VFW (where I work) to donate to Children's Hospital psychiatric unit in Cincinnati. I've been watching your videos for some, greatly appreciated, ideas and want to thank you for sharing your knowledge in this art and giving me motivation for this huge project I'm about to embark on. ❤️💛💚 The nature and the trees and the birds, btw, are beautiful.
Awe. It is messages that keep my gratitude meter filled. Thank you for such a beautiful and heartfelt message. Thank you for honoring your creativity and sharing your medicine with the kids. I would love to see the project when it all finished up. Remember to have fun
Hi Mark! I’ve been going through your videos and love your approach to the art. I really enjoy your emphasis on “this is the way I do it you should find your own way”. Understanding this really unlocks creativity. Especially when “tying nubs”. Keep up the great work!
Hi there friend. That is my approach on life as well. We are all unique journey and we literally can't be the same anyways, no matter how hard we try. That's why comparing ourselves makes no sense. We are All one but all extremely unique!!! Have fun and thank you for being you. Grateful we found each other.
What an AWESOME video! Thanks for really pouring your heart out to us. The breathing exercises have been really helpful for me. I've watched a couple times and forgot to comment you got my wheels Goin so hard. So much love, brother. Another beautiful work! ❤
Bringing tears to my eyes, knowing the breathwork has helped you. I just entered a 3 month men breathwork container, and it's changing my life. I can send you a couple of guided breathwork sessions if you wanted to dive deeper into that soul of yours. Lmk and I'll send ya a few
@@PsychedelicSerenity you're amazing. Goosebumps for your kindness! Ive been brought back to earth countless times since and im just going off of that brief instruction. Of course I would love to be filled with enlightenment. You've become a kind of guru to me, Mark! Finding this art has begun to heal my wings. FOREVER GREATFUL FOR THE WIND THAT LIFTS THEM🙏 all day long.
Mark, I just discovered your video and it is by far the best tutorial I have ever seen! Thanks so much for going through everything so that we can understand how and why you do the tying in this manner. I have subscribed and look forward to watching you again.
Awe Kristen thanks for the heart felt message and more validation that I am on my path. I appreciate you being on this journey with me and thank you for honoring your creativity 🙏
Mark that is a piece of art! Never done tie dyeing. My team at work are attending the Heart walk, our theme is Tye dye Woundcare/Hbo. I am going to dry this and your diagonal one! I enjoy watching your videos, gosh i love the tree behind you. You found your heaven on earth! You are truly an inspiration!
Yeah sucks that you were hacked. So was Scott Walker aka rad dyes. Thank you once again for the tutorial 🙏🏻💙 love how it came out and can't wait to play with it. The 1st needs to hurry up 😂😂. Will definitely share results. Have 3 shirts waiting to dye in your psychedelic trails tutorial. Didn't do them like yours so excited for the results. Im making ice atm. Almost have 2 2 1/2 gallon bags full. Think that should be enough for at least a first round hoping gets all the way saturated. Will share my results when done. You are the man!! 💙💙💙💙
Fanstastic. Thanks for the great tutorial. I’m wondering with that particular fold how that might look with in a dunk in indigo? Obviously some variations of tie downs. I’m excited to try with a big piece.
That’s a great idea! I think it would look beautiful in indigo. Let me know how it turns out! Indigo is one process I haven't tried. I have all the chemicals and just haven't messed around yet!
I love the care you take with your folding and wrapping and the fantastic results that you get. I see that you add your soda ash after the dye process, would you tell me what type of differences are achieved in doing it this way? Your results are spectacular.
It's a preference thing with the soda ash. I feel it creates a little movement in the dye and I don't like folding a soda ash filled shirt is the main reason
Just found your videos and they're fabulous! You asked for suggestions: turn your hat around so the bill is on your neck and doesn't cover up your work. It'll be easier for us to see. And yes, the animal sounds are fabulous!
I'm trying to take wrapping my head around it to blasting outside of the box here. So bear with me... You know the classic chalk line that you snap the line and it chalks onto the material what if you had mesh material with a large enough weave for the powdered dye to pass through to the floor beneath it. So one could snap the fabric and transfer onto a backyard deck . It may be possible to "snap-tie-die" and if it could snow on top of that perfect. What do ya think? It might work. I'm a novice but am really good at brainstorming. Let's evolve with the art of tie-dye together☺️
Love the video brother! I’m curious about how you use the soda ash. I’ve been dying for a few years now & always do the pre soak. I can’t stand how it feels on my hands when I’m tying. Do you only apply the soda ash after the piece has been dyed? I would love to never feel the dryness on my hands again lol
Yeah its possible to just do it at the end. I went over step by step how to do it at the end of the video. I hate folding soda ash shirts as well. It dries out my hands too.

Congratulations @traviswilson-fs2cu you are the winner of this Tapestry...please shoot me your address to psyserenitydyes@gmail.com
The animal noises in the background add to the calming effects and your instructions make this almost meditative.I love it, thank you!
Almost? From where I'm standing everything is meditation. 😉 Love ya brother
Yaay another tutorial! Super stoked, thank you so much!
P.S. i'm here for the bloopers.
Light love and rainbows to you!
Thanks for checking it out my friend. And I suppose I'll leave a few bloopers in every tutorial..🤣

I have a Shibori tutorial coming out soon and then time for the honey comb😁
And in the meantime. A honey comb is tied the same way i tied this piece. The only difference is pleat the shirt.😁
@@PsychedelicSerenity holy schmoly!! Grabbing a shirt now🤙

Amazing tie dye thanks for sharing your skills. What type of sheets should I look for to try this myself on the drapes?
I would try finding a local fabric store and buy some cotton fabric..alot of times sheets have a coating that messes with the dying process
Just found your videos and they're fabulous! You asked for suggestions: turn your hat around so the bill is on your neck and doesn't cover up your work. It'll be easier for us to see. And yes, the animal sounds are fabulous!
