- The 1980s were a busy decade in Harrisburg, Pa., with much construction - the Hilton, the new Market Square transportation center, Rachel Carson building, the Neighborhood Center and more.

I love seeing the old photo of Kline Village at the 1:25 mark. My friends would get boxes from the piano store at the far end (not pictured) and make spaceships with markers. The farmers market was awesome. My sister worked at Cloth World. Remember the bowling alley? The Beverage (drive up)? Pantry Pride? That was the best time to grow up.
Born there in 1964 and grew up on the Allison Hill area on Swatara Street. Love my beloved city!!
Good memories of Harrisburg
Those days are long gone 😢
The Spot, who remembers that the spotdogs?
Was the Spot ever on Cameron St? That building looks like the restaurant on the corner of Cameron St and I think Market St.
Cruising "The Circuit" with my pal Nick Laus and stopping into The Spot were great memories
Absolutely!!!
I remember Penn Harris Taxi! I know the family that owned it
I remember Harrisburg
