I have smelled original Mysore Sandalwood Oil here in Australia. It’s exactly as you explained, very subtle smell. Natural Sandalwood doesn’t smell as strong unless it’s mixed with other powerful fragrances which is why I believed it’s authenticity. Here a lady sells it for $125 for 12ml 😅
In india this Original sandal wood oil very very expensive.

Just last Saturday I have visited cauvery emporium at Hyderabad branch and took 5 ml mysore sandal oil (3000 INR for 5 ml) and along with it I have taken rosewood box for my premium oud,rose and exotic attars as well as some incense, thanks dr.saab for your old and new sandalwood oil videos.

Mujhe lagta hai Agar government sandal tree cultivation se control wapas lele to sandal bahut log ugane lagenge itne control ki wajah se sandal Kam hota Ja raha hai..
U can grow sandalwood tree on your own land, but for cutting the tree u need permission from the forest dept.
It needs 15 Yr for cultivation but a single acre will help you earn 3-5 crores as I know from Karnataka

Hi Nikhil, can I mix this oil in alcohol in small batch of 10ml (with 1ml oil and 9ml perfume grade ethanol) and apply as a normal perfume? Will it project well and last longer? Have you tried it? Please reply.....

Superb Nikhil Bhai. I, personally, have not had much luck with the Indian Government Cavery brand of Sandalwood though. The colour and consistency of the oil speaks to the quality - mine is pale opaque and extremely thin. Maybe I got the wrong batches - I've been told that these bottles are often counterfited. Hopefully in future videos you can go into details of how to spot a fake v/s genuine bottle of these Government owned Sandalwood oils perhaps?
Hmm. Can I request you to revisit this oil after a few days esp in a cold room.

Bought 5 gram sandalwood oil bottle from official website of cauvery handicrafts. Received it today, quite happy as well but volume of oil in bottle is like 1/5 of the bottle size. @Perfume Guru please let me know is the amount of oil this much only in the bottle or i have received damaged bottle

I just purchased it 10ml for 3000 from kaveri emporium on MG road in Banaglore. Its not blue bottle but black in color...but rest of the bottle is like yours... very long lasting...lingers for days on clothes. But 3000 rate, is it genuine?
