I was so happy to find this video. My parents were married at Calvary Baptist Church sixty years ago. Although I was young when I attended I still remember the beautiful sanctuary. And the fellowship hall and of course the organ. Thanks for doing the video. It brought back a lot of happy memories. Well done!
Man, your videos are so underrated! You're clearly very knowledgeable about the subject and you present it in a way that keeps the average dude listening and interested even if they don't know squat about NY or buildings. The interest and passion is infectious, thank you for sharing it.
Thank you for this. I used to work at the Salisbury Hotel. I started in March of 1980 as the time keeper and night maintenance. By 1982 I was operating the manual elevator for two days of the week, and bell hop the other three days. I still have a brouchure that I was picked for to model in. Great memories seeing this video. Once again, thanks.
@@thedexterbros Hi Dexterbros, I'm sorry but I do not have an Instagram account. I do not have a Facebook aka: META or any account relating to such for reasons I'll keep to myself. If there's another way, I'll gladly send you pics of the brouchure. Ever heard of MeWe? 😉
Thank you for the information on Van Cliburn! I have loved him for eons! ❤️ I am attending a concert at Carnegie Hall, next week, and I am going to check out where Van used to live! 💕
Wow that's awesome! Yeah check it out the exterior is still up as of this comment and you I think you may still be able to see a mostly intact lobby through the hotel window. Thanks so much for watching, glad you enjoyed! Subscribe for more

Sweet video bro! Keep up the good work, I'm looking forward to more of this NYC exploration series
I remember this building in the 1990s! I remember at 7:30, this picture was taken downstairs called Fellowship Hall.
