I also have and still watch the DVD series too but the A-Team has been on two different TV channels here lately (MeTV and H&I) so I have just been catching it on one of those stations right now. I'm surprised someone hasn't complained today about something on the show and had it taken off the stations because people have changed today, and it's not like the times we enjoyed in the 80s.
Miami Vice A Team Knight Rider Chips Dukes of Hazzard We're ,and still are, the best TV shows of the 1980s. And just listening to Dirk and Dwight talk about the show takes me right back to the The 80s. The 80s were, and still is, The Best decade ever lo be Alive in.
Absolutely agree brother, if i think about it too hard though makes me real sad that we can never go back, and the world of today is so different, and i dont like it one bit ..... The 80s forever in my soul
Well come on we can't leave out Magnum, PI, The Incredible Hulk, Hill Street Blues, Night Court, Golden Girls, Family Ties, The Equalizer, Cheers, Hart to Hart, Who's The Boss, Amen and Moonlighting :) these were the good days of tv for sure.
This was awesome. Incredibly entertaining and an honest look at what was going on behind the scenes. I had no idea the show was actually hated by the network. Dwight and Dirk are very well spoken and funny, they seem quite intelligent and effortless entertainers. I can see why T would feel a bit out of place here though.
The major reason I watched the A-Team was to see Dirk Benedict! Excellent actor and gorgeous too! When he was on screen, Battlestar Galactica or A-Team I couldn't take my eyes off of him.
you probably dont give a shit but if you guys are stoned like me atm then you can stream pretty much all the latest series on instaflixxer. Have been streaming with my girlfriend for the last couple of weeks =)
I loved each of these actors for their incredible entertaining performances. I loved how faceman and HM Murdock would work together in certain episodes. loved how Hannibal would come up with the craziest plans. amy Adams once said Hanibal's plans don't work as intended, they just work. Mr.T being Bad Attitude (Bosco) BA Barracus was just so much fun to watch Murdock get on his nerves. B.A. always made time for the kids in community centers and taught me one thing that isn't anything worth losing your pride for. Life doesn't mean nothing unless you can hold your head up high. Don't ever let anyone push you around.
Somebody should get these two together with Mr. T to come back and play their characters again, for a special episode. Dwight said he wanted it to end with Hannibal’s death, so they could bring it back where Hannibal died. Sad, but It would explain his absence.
No he said he wanted to end with the others all dead and hanaibel last one alive...which personally would have been terrible ending I didn't wanna see my heroes all killed off! A pardon would have been better snd then the team still decide to help people because that's just who they are.
I'm a girl and it was my favorite show. I started watching it at 10 years old. It still is the best show I have ever seen. I had an enormous crush on Face (Dirk). I wanted to be Amy. I used to wish that the A-Team would cruise by my school and take me away with them in that awesome van. 💜
My whole family watched this show..my Dad was an Vietnam veteran and it was the only show that showed it like it was for veterans...HUGE crush on Faceman...
Same with Magnum PI. Hollywood is so out of touch. They think that women and men are one dimensional but people of any gender or race or all walks of life just want to watch a good quality show no matter who stars in it.
God, I love those critters Had such a happy childhood in the 80s with my pals and my single Mother who was a teacher in Ireland. Would love to shake their hands and say Thank You. God bless the A Team. #MAGA
Who wasnt out playing A Team with their best freinds, arguing over who was gonna be who, and loving being a kid ....49 years old from S Jersey (medford lakes)....totally defined my childhood....
And I'm sure the executives hated cashing those big checks every week the Ateam brought in. And what sucked for the men on the show is the big wigs did no marketing and no guest appearances to spread the word about the show. I'd love to hear Dirk and Dwight tall all day long. 2 THUMBS UP 👍 👍.
Loved when Dirk Benedict said of Dwight Schultz on the show, "... and we had an actor!", basically giving him the gracious compliment that Schultz was really the only real actor in a cast full of movie stars/tv stars; I always felt that myself that Schultz was the best actor on the show, but I also really enjoyed the chemistry he had with Benedict on the show and always got the impression from watching those scenes of them together that they must've gotten along in real life, and sure enough, here they are still doing tv conventions together all these years later! I'd love to see a GENUINE A-Team sequel (as opposed to that abominable recent reboot movie that stupidly left all the quirky and fun qualities that made the original show so good so it was just another forgetable action scene with a forgetable actor playing Murdock in the film cast!) with the two of them as the leads since they obviously still have that great fun chemistry-- have Face and Murdock be charge of a new, younger team that they have to lead and train for new missions!
Don't agree whilst dwight is obviously great actor so were dirk and peppard! In fact prob peppered more than any of them when you consider that he grew to dislike mr t but i would never have guessed that from watching! Even mr t acted well for what was needed out of him. So ied say they had 3 brilliant actor's and 1 not so great but stepped up and did what was needed.
I would love to see these two on a new show - maybe two retired PIs that make fun of each other for being paranoid, but then they both get the same suspicion and chase it up. something like that.
Love these guys. They're so humble and have fond memories of the show that they are willing to share. Peppard as great as he was would probably stay the fuck away from this sort of thing if he was still here. He would have the same attitude toward The A-Team as Connery has to James Bond.
So watching this I see that Dwight keeps his hand in his pockets. he did that also when he played Murdock. So i am think some of his physical traits he carried into his character.
They should bring it back with producers who understand the essence and ethos of the original show. Of course it would take on a different format being that they are older but they could still pull it off.
It says A lot how far we've fallen that we'd never get a show like The A Team on the air today. Hollywood takes itself way too seriously and lack the originality and passion that the greatest eras of television had. They used to try to make shows EVERYONE enjoyed and that's why basically everyone watched the same shows back then. Now it's all about them trying to appease one specific group or Twitter warriors. Do you think women didn't love all male shows like A Team or Magnum PI? Or that men didn't watch the hell out of all female ones like Charlie's Angels, The Golden Girls, Facts of Life etc? Please lol
I understand what they said about the movie. Although I love the movie it is very Face-centric as Bradley Cooper was becoming the big deal in Hollywood at the time and they really amped up his role.
Such a late reply, but the role was originally written for Dirk because the creator saw him in battlestar. The network didn't want him and actually told Dirk he wasn't good-looking enough. So they hired Tim, but after the pilot they realized that Tim was way to young to have been a Vietnam vet from 10 years prior and he was to tall for the other actors so they brought Dirk back in.
Personally i would have hated that ending! I did not want to see my favourite characters killed off! I actually think the way it ended was ok maybe i would have liked them to be pardoned
Truly my favourite show of all time. Even now in 2021 I’m still watching my old DVD set. Love it.
Have to agree with you,I tell my kids that The A-Team was the greatest TV show ever!,it was the best 👍.
I'm Bengali from England and I grew up watching The A Team and I'd love to share childhood memories of The A Team with my soul mate as well.
@@tommytaylor4139 The 80's were the best era.
These people don't need a network TV show to be entertaining - it's just their natural talent.
Two truly talented gentlemen who are entertaining with or without television 📺 and are so down to earth.
I hope to meet them one day.
Miami Vice
A Team
Knight Rider
Chips
Dukes of Hazzard

You forgot magnum p.i. And Simon & Simon
Remington Steele.
The Equalizer and Fall Guy
Seems as if Dirk Benedict and Dwight Schultz were the only ones who got along on that show!
Yep.
These two were a HUGE part of my childhood. The A-Team was one of my favorite shows when I was a kid back in the 80s.
The major reason I watched the A-Team was to see Dirk Benedict! Excellent actor and gorgeous too! When he was on screen, Battlestar Galactica or A-Team I couldn't take my eyes off of him.
Lol I'm a man and he was still my favourite character on the a.team and Battlestar...but not because i fancied him 😆 it was just his character
Don't forget him in Body Slam as M. Harry Smilac. He was hilarious in that movie.
Yup! I even enjoyed watching the intro to see Dirk 😍He sure was *eye candy*😘💕🤗
Absolutely loved the A-team & still watch it a lot even now in my late 40s.
Loved this show so much! Great memory of my childhood. Just purchased the first 4 seasons on iTunes to watch anytime…. anywhere!
I just finished watching all 5 seasons, I WANT MORE! What a great show.
One of the best show's in the 80's, I was 14 when the show started 1983 in the UK,pure legend's 😁
Dirk Benedict looks amazing. Handsome man.
😍👍
I love wearing caps in my childhood because of Murdock
My favourite show. Some like Game of Thrones. I like the A-Team :D
you probably dont give a shit but if you guys are stoned like me atm then you can stream pretty much all the latest series on instaflixxer. Have been streaming with my girlfriend for the last couple of weeks =)

The chemistry has allways been good between them
Proof that "networks" do not know jack shit and it is the fans that are the intelligent ones.
It was an "all male show" yet women loved it. Riddle that, Hollywood.
Yep. I was a teenager when then show was on and my mom loved it too. My dad was active duty Army and he didn't care for it.
I'm a girl and it was my favorite show. I started watching it at 10 years old. It still is the best show I have ever seen. I had an enormous crush on Face (Dirk). I wanted to be Amy. I used to wish that the A-Team would cruise by my school and take me away with them in that awesome van. 💜

Pourquoi on donne notre avis vue que jamais pour nous réponde j'aurais aimé avoir une petite réponse merci beaucoup

First time I seen a team comic con one of the best good energy
I was so glad to watch this. THANKS for posting it!
The A Team was my favorite show when I was a kid.
What a couple of just very very talented and likable people.
Awesome anekdotes. Thank you for sharing this video and for uploading it.
God,
I love those critters
Had such a happy childhood in the 80s with my pals and my single Mother who was a teacher in Ireland.
Would love to shake their hands and say Thank You.
God bless the A Team.

Very classy guys! The A-Team was one of the best TV shows of all times!!!
You guys are awesome love the stories & glad you spoke up & wrote the telegraph well done.
great post! I really enjoyed this. Two great guys.
Who wasnt out playing A Team with their best freinds, arguing over who was gonna be who, and loving being a kid ....49 years old from S Jersey (medford lakes)....totally defined my childhood....
Murdock and Face are great together Love this show Just Love you two so much you both were great on A team Joanne Spudis❤
I wonder if they would do a commi con out here in Aus. Loved the show, still watch the show and would definately go out to see them.

You get the feeling that perhaps the American TV network didn't really get the A-Team was a childrens programme.
Il sont toujours beau tout le deu me mon préféré restera me murdock il et d'en mon coeur pour toujours
They should bring it back with producers who understand the essence and ethos of the original show. Of course it would take on a different format being that they are older but they could still pull it off.
As much as i want it back, within todays pc world with agendas and political bias, they would only end up ruining it

17:07 they complete each others sentences :))
i think of the a-team as a really great sitcom.
This is so funny...... Mr. T "Oh man, do I speak?" And then I dated Marie Osmond.. and then I was kicked out of UT.
I understand what they said about the movie. Although I love the movie it is very Face-centric as Bradley Cooper was becoming the big deal in Hollywood at the time and they really amped up his role.
Mr. T where are You man. Again!
Hollywood has only gotten worse since.
This guys are the real deal love them, the story about the end of the show is info I wanted to know
Does anyone know y the original face only appeared for 1 episode.
The A Team episodes
I love them, and the show, so much :)
But why Benedict's face in the A Team movie was strange ?!
Are you kidding me? He is the Blonde Kennedy! GORGEOUS
If you watched him in the movie carefully, you'll see that they put him in what could be a sunbath gone wrong!
I love Dirk but I wish he would stop interrupting Dwight.
I loved the show but hated when Robert Vaughn was added. I just don't like him as an actor.
They should have kept Lynch chasing the team.
That was the question I would have asked - How would they have wanted the show to end.
Becausse one died and they dont wanne preform with out the same people
And there woundering why he dont like them
Personally i would have hated that ending! I did not want to see my favourite characters killed off! I actually think the way it ended was ok maybe i would have liked them to be pardoned
I've seen several of these con panels, Mr. T. isn't on any of them. Why?
Racism
About the A-team movie---I agree, Liam was not a good replacement for George Peppard as Hannibal. I can't think of any modern actor who would be.
Dirk cuts in too much talking, take turns
ending it was one dumb move
Great to see these legends...! Thinking Dirk is taking a bit up his nose in the bathroom before this 😁
A little too much b*tching, but very nice.
50:40 Bob Keeshan was delusional.
