Everyone’s saying his voice is gone, but he’s still singing perfectly in key! Not to mention he’s playing the bass spot on at the same time! Very excited to see him later this month on my birthday.
He's singing about a quarter step flat throughout... but he is the brilliant man who wrote these songs and he's 80. Go see him and have a great time. It's Paul.

A little story about this song that people might not have heard before. Abbey Road studios 1969. Billy Kinsley( The Merseybeats) is working in a nearby studio. He walked past the studio that The Beatles were currently recording in. Billy and Paul knew each from their Cavern Club days.. Paul was on his own playing the drums in an otherwise empty studio. Billy said he stood in the doorway and listened as McCartney sang over and over again ‘ You never give me your money, you only give me your funny paper’, as he played a beat on the drums. Kinsley thought to himself that’s a bloody weird song as he made his way to his own studio.. When ‘ Abbey Road ‘was released months later it all became clear. He was witnessing the genesis of a masterpiece!

People saying his voice is fragile or almost gone-I completely disagree! He may not be able to do certain vocal runs, but he still has that nearly gritty rock vocal that only Paul McCartney can do!
Thank You Sir Paul for sharing your passion with us … we are truly blessed to have shared your music for the last 60 years … here is a man who wants for nothing and he still does shows … I wish people would stop complaining about his voice and just enjoy every moment we can spend watching him perform 👏👏👏❣️👏👏👏
I love the man and ALL his music. BUT just hitting the right pitch on the notes is not all there is. Quality of tone is important too! Anyway, check out his doing this same tune back at the very start of his current band...in 2002. ruclips.net/video/GpFK_LnhTBg/видео.html
He’s hitting notes with “half-voice” - you don’t know what you’re talking about. Also, “key is perfect” is meaningless. You tried to bluff, but you don’t know jackshiitt about music.
There's only a few musicians/celebrities that I would be totally star-struck if I was able to meet them in person....and Paul is definitely at the very top of the list.
SNL had a bit where someone was getting the "five timers club" jacket Alec Baldwin made a cameo, and they didn't tell him Sir Paul was going to be on too. McCartney comes on the screen and Alec is frozen, in awe and can't say his lines. It was very neat.(even f you don't like Alec Baldwin). So, even the biggest stars and egos can be star struck by a Beatle.
And Paul would be so quick to put you at ease and do his best to ease your nervousness and relate to you as an equal. Which speaks to his compassion and his humility as a awesome, kind and down to earth person.
Loved this song from AbbeyRoad album...Sir Paul still amazing performer of his aged..Looking forward to watch you here in Manila before you retired from touring...
It doesn't even matter if his voice is shot, what matters the most is he chooses to grace all of us with his celestial presence. He is at the point where just showing up is enough to bless the whole lot of people attending his show. People don't realize what they have until it just disappears forever. He is the most beautiful thing right now on our planet. I am from Pakistan and have tried twice to get the US visa only to see him play live (at whatever ticket price) just for once before he leaves for his final abode, but unfortunately got my visa application rejected by consular officer. I wish I could just see him once, feel his presence around me just for once.
Two of my favorite Beatle songs, especially Bathroom Window. Wonderful! Thank you for sharing. I’m looking forward to seeing Paul at Syracuse a month from tomorrow!
For him to be that age and still play and sing like that is pretty great in of itself, never mind its Paul McCartney. I feel sorry for people who can't enjoy it!!
I don't understand why people think Paul is going to have the voice of when he was 20, he is nearly 80! It is expected for his voice to sound a bit strained but he still sounds great! I wish I could see him live! Thanks for uploading this :)
Paul you are a legend, waiting for this for so long you sound fantastic. Not to mention killer bass playing this video highlights it you wrote the book
