Just before the prayer started I started smiling from ear to ear..as the prayer was finishing I was laughing and filled with the most unexplainable joy I've ever felt. When the camera panned to the woman smiling and laughing I was affirmed by the Holy Spirit. When I was asked to speak in tounges I laid still and said " I wont fake it, I won't mind if its not my time for it to come, I'll just believe." And in that very moment I began to laugh, cry hysterically and joyfully, and speak in tounges. This was truly the greatest day of my life. Praise you Jesus Yahushua Meshiac! Amen praise you all Amen and may God may Jesus may the Holy Spirit fill your lips and hearts with His power Amen!
I have never spoken in tongues before today. I was listening to this play list whilst resting as I have chronic illness and I fell asleep for awhile. I awoke at this altar call and found myself speaking in tongues. It flowed like a river just as Brother Prince said. I came back to listen to it again a few hours later and once more it flowed from me. And the peace of God is resting on my heart. Thank you Lord Jesus.
Well I really feel that Jesus pointed us to find Derick Prince. I’m not putting down any other teachings or services . After I studied with him , then I realized there was so much missing from what I thought I knew !! When I asked Jesus who should I listen to, No kidding around, With a instant answer , Derick Princess name was said in my head!!! All Praise and Glory to God Our Father and Our Lord Jesus Christ
IAfter reading a few comments, It troubles me when people cannot receive truth because they are looking for offense. Derek Prince was not a racist for making cultural and racial distinctions. We all have them. God made us with differences, so what. That doesn't mean I am racist if I acknowledge those distinctions. Take these Pearl's of truth given by the Holy Spirit or miss out. Your choice. Clearly these teachings are solid Bible and thus life changing! Be filled!
I would say "I can't believe" people could think Prince is a racist but knowing the ignorance of people I CAN believe it unfortunately. His comment about Africans was stating that his fellow church men believed in a false idea of limitations for Africans. Prince clearly said "I didn't argue with them I just stayed with the Africans" and later went on to say that those church members were proven wrong so where is the offense? Satan truly has a thick blindfold over some of you I pray Jesus takes that off, Amen.
I always come back to the "foundational teaching of the bible" by Derek Prince. And I always learn valuable truth. Drink deeply we are so fortunate to have them. Glory to God! Thank you who provides them.
You would never learn this stuff in systematic theology class. Nor in many other academic classes. This is such pivotal teaching. And really helps where it counts in understanding the means and scope of salivation in Christ.
I have been baptized in the Spirit before but watching this video was incredibly refreshing for me. The altar time was powerful and I felt as if God removed my physical tongue and put a new one in. I consider this a refilling! Praise the Lord!

I was at work in my cubicle. I'd been baptised and saved, familiar with scripture. I just hadn't experienced the Holy Spirit. I followed the instructions as directed by Mr Prince, and then the laughing started. I couldn't stop but enjoyed every second 😄. I then thought, I wanted to speak in toungues, and I just opened my mouth and let the Holy Spirit speak.

Yoko Delgado just ask, cry out to God it might help. The reason I say this is I had a problem where I had trouble, there was a block, if I can call it that. I think it was the fear of man. But for me it helped to get alone and cry out from the bott of my heart. Hope this helps...

Ok, I came immediately to your page because I know you’re serving the one true God, the almighty Father, the creator! A little shaken up at The moment, and I’m asking for my brothers and sisters in Christ to say a prayer for my dad was in the hospital, very very ill. Mom and I just got done having a meeting with the doctors (or so we thought) turns out, It was more than just the doctors, we we’re just bombarded (I feel like) by 7 people, circled around us, coming in the cloak of “comfort” but I saw through it. I KNEW who some of them were! I could see RIGHT THROUGH Them! Immediately i thought of [LUKE 17:37] “Wherever there is a carcass, there the vultures will gather.”” ... They pressed us by way of intimidation, to let him go. My mom stood firm, standing tall, strong, & steady like ‘The house built on a foundation of rock’. I was so proud of her, she’s following Jesus ‘s lead, which is what we had just prayed for before we went in today. The reason I’m writing this is for prayer request for my Daddy, for i’m shaken to my core right now, as I just stared into the eyes of a demon. The chaplain!! I saw his eyes, I KNEW who he was, & I know he saw me SEE! That was the weirdest feeling of my life! I stood unshaken in the presence of him but as I’m writing this now, admittedly shaken up. I went then after directly back to Dad’s room & laid my body across his chest & prayed with all my heart for the Holy Spirit to protect him, & said “rebuke any or all unclean spirits that may have been prayed over him??? Acts2:4 recounts that speaking in tongues is not necessarily gifted during the baptism of the Holy Spirit. I believe it was necessary for the disciples at that time to begin their apostleship in foreign countries ; just as God divided the crowd with separate languages during Nimrod's rulership. Could you describe how you were baptised in the Holy Spirit? Thank you. God bless.
dave mac there is a difference between a gift and your authority. Christ spoke to his disciples and gave authority to his believers to lay hands on the sick and they shall recover. Which leads to all believers not just some through faith in the one who commanded us to do it. As for tongues that is a sign of the HS but not the only manifestation of the HS in a person. So I will disagree that all who receive the Holy Spirit will manifest with tongues. It says you will know them by their fruits not their gifts.

Paul used the word apprehended in Philippines 3, which speaks of an automatic consequence of believing the word of truth which is the word of faith Ephesians 1:13, Romans 10:8-10 Baptism of the Spirit is that consequence when we believe the Word of faith. In being apprehended of the Lord it is understood that by One Spirit we are baptized and apprehended of the Lord. The promise of the Spirit recorded in Joel is what demonstration of the Spirit is upon believing the word of faith the word of truth.
1 Corinthians 12:10 To another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another the ability to distinguish between spirits, to another various kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues................................seems the gifts are the seal, and tongues is just one seal of the many gifts not everyone will speak tongues that is born again IMO love Derik Prince

These are just one of the signs that must follow and as according to the words uttered by Jesus Christ Himself.
Ephesians 1:13 In him you also, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit, Ephesians 4:30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption...................................................................................................................................................... Seems the seal is the Holly Spirit and thats it,
Those verses do not indicate gramatically that the Holy Spirit is the seal, but that the Holy Spirit seals. Brother Prince is advancing the view that whilst there are many gifts of the Spirit, there is one which is evidence of being filled with the Holy Spirit - the gift of tongues. The passages you found in Corinthians and posted indicate that the gift of tongues is good for all believers but that prophesy is better - furthermore, they indicate that while one may have the gift of tongues, there is not always interpretation but that it is often a form of prayer or praise directly from one's heart to God, in a language provided by God and for His glory. God loves us and wishes to share many things with us but we must put ourselves before Him without reservation, denying ourselves and acknowledging that He alone is perfect in wisdom and knowledge. God knows what is best, he plans greater things for us than we could imagine, unless we do His will and not our own we cannot be called His children; but He has given us a promise: if we love Him and keep His commandments (all the law and prophets hang on the commandments to love Him and one another), then He will send us His Holy Spirit and dwell within us, then will He rule and teach us in the person of the Holy Spirit. Any who live in love are children of God; any who are continually led by the Holy Spirit are mature children of God. To His children He gives whatever good is asked for. So then, live to love, seek His will over your own, and He will give answers to your questions and prayers. May the Lord bless any who read this with understanding, peace, and ever-increasing love. Glory be to God; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Notice also that the Bible gives us a litmus test for spirits: do they glorify the Father and the Son, professing that Jesus (Yeshua) is the Messiah come in the flesh in truth and in fulfilment of the prophesies, do they profess that the Father (Yahweh) is Lord and creator, and do they profess that the Father and Son are one God? If so, the spirit is of God. Notice that the gentiles who received and were baptised not only spoke in tongues but magnified the Lord.

I grew up in a church which prided itself proclaiming that their doctrine was more strict and Biblically based then even the Presbyterians and that KJV was the most accurate and correct version of the Bible . I'm not putting them down as a lot of their teachings are truly fundamentally very sound but I don't think they are right in every teaching and have no wish to convince and get into arguments with those who are so dogmatic and self-righteous. Neither have I ever been ex-communicated from any church - If I don't agree I just go find some other whose teachings more closely match the Word of God. I would really like, if possible, to learn if there is any sermon from Derek how he refutes the view on teachings by some that tongues was given only during Pentecost and then only in a known language. Not gibberish, as practiced, in their eyes, by a lot of Pentecostal churches and that tongues, miracles and prophecies have since ceased once the Bible was spread. That is they think that just because they have never witnessed it, it no longer exist and the minute any of their members publicly state otherwise they get ex-communicated is really sad - It's like they look in the mirror in God's word and declare they know everything so it's right for them as Shepherd of the Flock to judge members of the flock who had "Sinned" in their eyes in Biblical times like Paul did. Man, talk about seeing the beam in your brothers eye but not the mote in your own. Tongues for worshipping God doesn't really need to be interpreted. Why would you need to know what I'm saying to God? It's almost like if I were praying (not on tongues), would you feel like you needed to hear my prayer? Cause if you're 4 rows over you might see I'm praying but not hear what I'm saying. Would you feel like you needed to know? I feel like context matters here. Now if I stand up and loudly declare something to the congregation in tongues, if there's no interpretation then just move on. So I feel like the distinction is, am I having a private conversation with God in tongues or am I having a public conversation with people in tongues?
So you're correct, if I'm talking to you in tongues with no interpretation, not much benefit. (now if I'm praying over you in tongues there's benefit because you aren't the audience). If I'm praying or worshipping in tongues, the audience for that (God) CAN understand so no earthly interpretation needed.
I have no issue with speaking in tongues. It is when I have been in churches where people are just mumbling and looking around, then they start doing it, one after the other. No language, just mumbling and acting a fool because you want to seem like you are filled with the spirit too. Every service at this church you would have half or more mumbling and flopping around on the floor and just acting a fool. I just felt something evil there and not Godly. I stayed as I had gone with a friend, and then I talked to him and took him to my church and he finally left that place.
If we are speaking to God, there is no need for an interpreter (II Corinthians 14:2). They are not with the unlearned nor with unbelievers (II Corinthians 4:23).
The only error of his teaching, I found, is the bit about tongues. Jesus never said all will have tongues. He said all will receive gifts. Plural. And to call his brothers and sisters in Christ bad names isn't very nice.

How much I would have loved to be there to be lay down hands to receive the baptism in the Holy Spirit but I'm still want to receive His gift.

The reason I’m writing this is for prayer request for my Daddy, for i’m shaken to my core right now, as I just stared into the eyes of a demon. The chaplain!! I saw his eyes, I KNEW who he was, & I know he saw me SEE! That was the weirdest feeling of my life! I stood unshaken in the presence of him but as I’m writing this now, admittedly shaken up. I went then after directly back to Dad’s room & laid my body across his chest & prayed with all my heart for the Holy Spirit to protect him, & said “rebuke any or all unclean spirits that may have been prayed over him??? Is that what they do ? I don’t know, but I prayed so hard to cast out any evil & get behind us Satan, for I KNEW just what I saw & felt. I believe I am sealed by the Holly spirit, eventhough I don't speak tounge. But if God willing, I want to speak tounge.
Acts2:4 recounts that speaking in tongues is not necessarily gifted during the baptism of the Holy Spirit. I believe it was necessary for the disciples at that time to begin their apostleship in foreign countries ; just as God divided the crowd with separate languages during Nimrod's rulership.

dave mac there is a difference between a gift and your authority. Christ spoke to his disciples and gave authority to his believers to lay hands on the sick and they shall recover. Which leads to all believers not just some through faith in the one who commanded us to do it. As for tongues that is a sign of the HS but not the only manifestation of the HS in a person. So I will disagree that all who receive the Holy Spirit will manifest with tongues. It says you will know them by their fruits not their gifts.
@@Driven82 Right I see tongues as gift and not all will get this gift. I agree we will know them by there fruit but hopefully we are using are gift to produce fruit,

Paul used the word apprehended in Philippines 3, which speaks of an automatic consequence of believing the word of truth which is the word of faith Ephesians 1:13, Romans 10:8-10 Baptism of the Spirit is that consequence when we believe the Word of faith. In being apprehended of the Lord it is understood that by One Spirit we are baptized and apprehended of the Lord. The promise of the Spirit recorded in Joel is what demonstration of the Spirit is upon believing the word of faith the word of truth.

Those verses do not indicate gramatically that the Holy Spirit is the seal, but that the Holy Spirit seals. Brother Prince is advancing the view that whilst there are many gifts of the Spirit, there is one which is evidence of being filled with the Holy Spirit - the gift of tongues.
The passages you found in Corinthians and posted indicate that the gift of tongues is good for all believers but that prophesy is better - furthermore, they indicate that while one may have the gift of tongues, there is not always interpretation but that it is often a form of prayer or praise directly from one's heart to God, in a language provided by God and for His glory.
God loves us and wishes to share many things with us but we must put ourselves before Him without reservation, denying ourselves and acknowledging that He alone is perfect in wisdom and knowledge. God knows what is best, he plans greater things for us than we could imagine, unless we do His will and not our own we cannot be called His children; but He has given us a promise: if we love Him and keep His commandments (all the law and prophets hang on the commandments to love Him and one another), then He will send us His Holy Spirit and dwell within us, then will He rule and teach us in the person of the Holy Spirit. Any who live in love are children of God; any who are continually led by the Holy Spirit are mature children of God.
To His children He gives whatever good is asked for. So then, live to love, seek His will over your own, and He will give answers to your questions and prayers.

I grew up in a church which prided itself proclaiming that their doctrine was more strict and Biblically based then even the Presbyterians and that KJV was the most accurate and correct version of the Bible . I'm not putting them down as a lot of their teachings are truly fundamentally very sound but I don't think they are right in every teaching and have no wish to convince and get into arguments with those who are so dogmatic and self-righteous. Neither have I ever been ex-communicated from any church - If I don't agree I just go find some other whose teachings more closely match the Word of God. I would really like, if possible, to learn if there is any sermon from Derek how he refutes the view on teachings by some that tongues was given only during Pentecost and then only in a known language. Not gibberish, as practiced, in their eyes, by a lot of Pentecostal churches and that tongues, miracles and prophecies have since ceased once the Bible was spread. That is they think that just because they have never witnessed it, it no longer exist and the minute any of their members publicly state otherwise they get ex-communicated is really sad - It's like they look in the mirror in God's word and declare they know everything so it's right for them as Shepherd of the Flock to judge members of the flock who had "Sinned" in their eyes in Biblical times like Paul did. Man, talk about seeing the beam in your brothers eye but not the mote in your own. Tongues for worshipping God doesn't really need to be interpreted. Why would you need to know what I'm saying to God? It's almost like if I were praying (not on tongues), would you feel like you needed to hear my prayer? Cause if you're 4 rows over you might see I'm praying but not hear what I'm saying. Would you feel like you needed to know? I feel like context matters here. Now if I stand up and loudly declare something to the congregation in tongues, if there's no interpretation then just move on. So I feel like the distinction is, am I having a private conversation with God in tongues or am I having a public conversation with people in tongues?
So you're correct, if I'm talking to you in tongues with no interpretation, not much benefit. (now if I'm praying over you in tongues there's benefit because you aren't the audience).
If I'm praying or worshipping in tongues, the audience for that (God) CAN understand so no earthly interpretation needed.
I have no issue with speaking in tongues. It is when I have been in churches where people are just mumbling and looking around, then they start doing it, one after the other. No language, just mumbling and acting a fool because you want to seem like you are filled with the spirit too. Every service at this church you would have half or more mumbling and flopping around on the floor and just acting a fool. I just felt something evil there and not Godly. I stayed as I had gone with a friend, and then I talked to him and took him to my church and he finally left that place.
If we are speaking to God, there is no need for an interpreter (II Corinthians 14:2). They are not with the unlearned nor with unbelievers (II Corinthians 4:23).

I think it's a typo and suppose to be 2Cor 4:13 'since we have the same Spirit of faith...'. Because she is highlighting that they are not unbelievers

The only error of his teaching, I found, is the bit about tongues. Jesus never said all will have tongues. He said all will receive gifts. Plural. And to call his brothers and sisters in Christ bad names isn't very nice.
