Almost 20 years of using tire irons to mount all sizes of tires on equipment. That boom might be helpful for some tires out there but looks like it would be un handy for most
@@chrismahoney7388 Really? Just can't comprehend someone not needing a Boom can you. I've been doing OTR and Road Service for almost 30 years Son, I've done Scraper Tires you can walk around in, many times, without a Boom or a helper. It's called experience, feel free to come back and talk shit when you have some.
I would have that dismounted and remounted and on my way to the next job. Who has time for that. It will be easier but easier dont make money when you get paid by the job
Hey bud it's good knowing a tire guy is representing us here. I'm jealous of the boom you have to break the beads tho
I do this shit with a hammer and bars.
Thanks for the video, there’s always another way of doing anything so thank you for showing us your way.

I’m a 140 pounds, that boom makes it a hell of a lot easier mounting and maneuvering a 800/70R38 ag tire
Great use of the boom arm to act as a “cage”. Stay safe.
Nice job.. 👋From Canyon Tire Corona Ca
Come along around the diameter of the tire would have seated the bead. Kuddo's for recycling the tire lube.
good job
What material did you use in the bucket.
Probably Murphy’s soap, it’s a bead lubricant
@@michaelraymond2298 thanks pal.
I have to use a hydraulic bead breaker.
I learned Tire Service old School, never had a need for a Boom.
Then you have not done big tires

More power to you. My company provided me with a boom I’m damn sure going to use it. I know not everyone has that luxury though.
@@brokendown63 right on me too. I run a tire service in PA, all you gotta have is experience and the will to work
