I am not sure about if we rub the perfume it will destroy the perfume….If we go from the logic of rubbing creates friction which in turn create heat, and due to this heat the molecular bond between molecules will break. But if thats the case then we wont be able to stir the coffee as well.
Just my humble opinion, as I didn’t face any issue due to rubbing.

Bro, a fragrance consists of top, mid & base notes; which evolve accordingly as the fragrance changes.
When you rub a perfume, you ruin the notes.
