Caitlin Clark's historic triple-double leads Fever past the Liberty | SNY

- Fever star Caitlin Clark became the first WNBA rookie to ever register a triple-double in Indiana's 83-78 win over the Liberty. Clark scored 19 points, dished out 13 assists and grabbed 13 rebounds as Indiana outscored New York 28-16 in the fourth quarter. Clark was more pleased with the win but admitted she knew she had reached the milestone after pulling down her 10th rebound and the crowd began cheering. Liberty coach Sandy Brondello complimented the Fever on their improved defensive play but added that her team's "lack of urgency" also played a part in the loss.

Clark had 19 Pts, 13 Ast at a minimum would be 26 PTS, or at least 45 points of the 83 scored or 54% of the Fevers scoring,
Now run all of Clark's games, and then run Reese's numbers and see where the numbers land - my bet is Clark crushes Reese and that should be a ROTY Award

@@JetsMetsfan1It's also quite possible that subconsciously the Brooklyn, New York Liberty knew that just the previous night the Yankees had lost to the Boston Red Sox and the Mets had lost to the number one pick in the draft Paul Skenes, the Mets were at Pittsburgh losing to the top pick in the draft, then the Liberty were at Indiana losing to the top pick in the WNBA draft, could anyone get those that are with SNY to make some note of that, lol?

Triple doubles in the WNBA are very uncommon.
The WNBA has seen just 35 triple-doubles in its 27 seasons, and currently just four in its 28th season.... Caitlin just got the fourth one!

Maybe not. Clark is setting rookie records; Reese is setting rookie and league records. Lots of players have had triple doubles, though Clark is the first rookie to do it. No player, including hall of famers, has thirteen consecutive double doubles in the same season in league history.

All I want to know is how did Fever beat this team?? Those 2 Liberty players look bigger and more MANLY than a lot of the Haz-Mat crew MEN I use to work with!
