Canadian provinces need to work together before we look outside of Canada. Just an example, I am a graduate of NAIT and I also have my Red Seal which is recognized in every province except Quebec. They have their own exam and certification. This is still true today

I think the feds needs to start chipping away at the low hanging fruit of streamlining inter-provincial trade. We as Canadians can do our best to shop Canadian and weather the storm of tariffs but something definitely has to be done to promote trade between provinces. We need to treat this as a national emergency and get the provinces to be aligned in order to strengthen our economy and be self reliant 🇨🇦

I think it’s deeper than politics. It attacks on one another’s resources and until all provinces feel their resources are as important as the others, it will be stagnant. Do I think we should do it? Definitely.

This is one instance where emergency powers actually makes sense to me - use the powers to rewrite the interprovincial rules.

That’s a no brainer. We shouldn’t have complicated barriers in our own country. Further more the fed should have power to force this to be done. It’s in the best interest of Canada

If there's a will, there's a way. If they tell you it'll take forever, it just means they want to sit on our tax dollars and suck their thumbs instead of get to work.

What about the province level securities regulating bodies. I don't think any other country has sub national level securities regulation

It's ridiculous how inept the governments at every level are here in Canada. They sure bring in enough tax revenue, so don't give me the money excuse. Bloated inefficiency.
