I've never heard this version before on a classic. Truly amazing! The Grateful Dead version was the one I grew up with thru the years. I just discovered the Kruger Bros on You Tube and can't believe their musicianship. I'm checking their other video's out whenever I'm able to stop listening to this one!
There's no need to apologize for this video. I was looking around for a version of "Who Stole The Kishka?" and this video was on the side. I'm sure glad that I clicked on it. The sound is great. I've certainly head of Doc Watson, but I hadn't heard of the Kruger Brothers before and I don't remember hearing this song. Now I have also listened to the version by the Seldom Scene. I haven't heard them for many years . . .
certainly do not intend to offend your cinematic sensitivities. This was shot under very spartan conditions and is candidly very lucky to exist. Find some other video shot at Doc Fest.

I just Love this go boys go
The Dead brought me here. I admit I'm not a fan of bluegrass music, but these guys are incredible!!
If you're a deadhead you're a fan of bluegrass even if you don't know it.
@@keptyetiThe Pizza Tapes- Garcia, Rice, Grisman👍
Killer version!
Saw them recently in the north of England, they were sensational and so friendly; also did a banjo workshop. Jens voted the world's best banjo player.
Hands down Jens is the best. Also got to sit down and do a banjo workshop with him and Uwe close to 20 years ago
I'll bet this clip is close to 8 years old. Just saw them at the Guthrie OK Intl. Bluegrass Festival. They were amazing
Awesome
GlG aus der Heimat... Seid ihr die good ol ' boys ??? Gruesse aus der Ardennen eifel
there the best!!!!!!!! love the ending
I like the two 8-bar instrumental pauses starting at 3:35. (I saw them at Wintergrass 2019, great show)

The Best
@FLINTER47 They're Swiss, not Swedish. But they're still amazing. They'll be at Rockygrass this year. Can hardly wait.
Holy shit
looks like Uwe is playing one of Doc Watson's Gallagher Guitars
Better than a lot of USA bluegrass.
