I just bought a 65 4 door.Its a very similar car to all 65 Chevelle,Wb is the same 115 in .frames are the same except El Camino has a stronger frame .Even wagons use the same frame in 65.I know 4 doors are lame but the price was right and i still have a fun project.

The Frame needs the extra brackets in the rear to prevent Frame cracks, the big block will twist the Frame different than a straight 6 ,
These brackets are on all 66 and 67 Chevelle Super Sport cars but are NOT on the Malibu or the 300 sedan cars
