i currently work at ups as a part time package handler, was interested maybe next year of becoming a driver.Maybe you could make another video of whats it like as a driver like finding packages on the truck, having misloads,dealing with hazardous materials, and more stuff etc.Great videos man, thanks for the insight and keep it up!Have a good day randy!

A friend is hitting 30 years as a driver. He will tell anyone who listens that the job is brutal. Long days. Rain. Heat. Cold. Back breaking. AND he LOVES IT. The customers. Never the same day twice. The friendly dogs. White people. Black people. All the love. The pay. The time off. There is no other job like it. He is keeping on even when he can retire after 30. He laughs that after a few years he got the routes that allowed him to be able to swing by home if he needed to take a deuce.
Hi, thanks for the awesome info and video. When you deliver the packages, do UPS limit your time, so the items must be delivered in 8 hours for example. Or you just do your own pace to deliver the packages?
Hey Randy, would it be smart to join as seasonal driver? I want to become a regular full-time drive. I'm waiting for UPS to post jobs up here by me but afraid it's getting too close to seasonal time for the holidays and I don't know the odds of UPS keeping seasonal drivers after Christmas. So wait , you use your own car or the ups trucks ? Because I thought I saw online the only way you get to be a driver is to start at the warehouse and what time you start and finish
