When I was a 16 year old kid I got introduced to methamphetamine. And all my life people told my family tough love was there only answer yet they chose to love me unconditionally just the way I was and that unconditional love is ultimately what helped get me off of it. I know so many families that are torn apart and they don't have nothing to do with one another and they have unforgiveness towards one another but my family is the total opposites. This song hits so close to home to me, I just suddenly started tearing up.. I suffer from Major Depression, GAD (Generalised Anxiety Disorder); doctors have even suggested, Bi Polar Disorder (who knows). Anyway. Growing up and even currently, trying to accept it upon yourself, in a society who often doesn't think to keenly on the topic of mental illness, let alone accepts you along with the other millions upon millions of people who suffer from such adversity everyday.. Even getting the support and acceptance from your own friends and family can be much more challenging. We are much stronger than the people who discriminate against us ever will imagine. :')

Andai a procura desta música por mais de 10 nos, eu ouvia ela na rádio nos anos 90. Não sabia quem catantava e nem o título, mas estava timbrada na minha mente... Alanis Morissette was one of the most prolific live artist of her time. Her live versions always sounded better than the studio version which I always found amazing about her. This and Unplugged are absolutely gems and need to be preserved at all cost.

This song hits so close to home to me, I just suddenly started tearing up.. I suffer from Major Depression, GAD (Generalised Anxiety Disorder); doctors have even suggested, Bi Polar Disorder (who knows). Anyway. Growing up and even currently, trying to accept it upon yourself, in a society who often doesn't think to keenly on the topic of mental illness, let alone accepts you along with the other millions upon millions of people who suffer from such adversity everyday.. Even getting the support and acceptance from your own friends and family can be much more challenging. We are much stronger than the people who discriminate against us ever will imagine. :')
